I think a parking pass is a worthy investment in Atlanta. They should have them listed on the game website I believe.

Leave 30 minutes early and go park at one of the red/gold line MARTA stations w/ abundant parking north of Midtown (Lindbergh, North Springs, Brookhaven, Chamblee).

This. Been to a handful of games at Mercedes-Benz. Tried a few different parking options. By far the easiest/safest was just parking at a Marta stop in a safe neighborhood and riding in and out of downtown.

Been going to ATL for games since ‘94 SEC Championship. We always park at Hamilton E Holmes MARTA station and ride in. Kind of a rough area but 90% fans on gameday. It’s the first MARTA station coming in on I-20.

Made the mistake and parked downtown ONCE back around 1996. Spent 2 1/2 hours in the parking deck trying to get out AFTER the game. Been using MARTA ever since!!

I would use Brookhaven MARTA tbh. Stay away from Lindbergh right now.

Comparable to Roebuck, really- certainly nothing like parking near Legion Field. Probably won't matter for a 3:30 game, but for a night game, the transfer at Five Points can take FOREVER. Holmes keeps you from needing to transfer

We live in the neighborhood bordered on the southwest by Brookhaven MARTA and northwest by Chamblee MARTA. Both are easy parking, easy in and out, good stations.

As noted above, though, riding the red/gold line does mean you either have to (a) Transfer at Five Points or (b) get off at Peachtree Center and walk across the park (which we generally do).

Easily the best option.

Used to be and probably still is for a 3:30 game.

However, conditions on the ground are very different than they were even 2 years ago for the Duke game. I wouldn't park and leave my car at HH for a night game and then walk back to it late at night/early morning hours. And I've lived ITP and ridden MARTA/lived near multiple MARTA lines (Red, Gold, Blue) for the better part of 30 years, so it's not some irrational fear thing.

But big event w/ lots of people using the station, daylight, etc. I'd feel fine about it.

Not enough information. How many people are coming? What kind of food do you like? You leaving after the game or staying over? Plan like a champion.

I'd still park there in a heartbeat. If Bama is playing, there's going to be a lot of people there. As long as it doesn't take you 2 hours to leave the stadium, you'll be fine.

The input is greatly appreciated. I like the different options. Thinking the Brookhaven Marta.

If the Brookhaven station parking if full, just head up the street a ways (not far) to the next (Doraville) station, much more parking there usually

Chamblee is the next one up and has a large parking lot. Doraville is the final stop north.
