While I hope he has progressed since last year and is playing well enough to lock it up, competition at every position is always a good thing.

Agreed. Earl Little, Jr. is supposed to be the real deal. Saban was really high on him during his recruitment. Both players competing will make the other that much better (hopefully).

Preach!

Arnold is very sticky in coverage when he's on top of his game. He moves way more smoothly than Kool-Aid. "The Fastest In The Secondary"

Eli Ricks wasn't better than him last year but folks gassed him up.

He will be drafted higher than Eli & Kool-Aid when it's all said and done.

He was a freshman Dee Milliner last season.

Boz, if/when you see this, can you tell us how the defense is looking/reacting to the Kevin Steele hire?

Also, for anyone on the board, what are we looking at in regards to Steele vs Golding? Surely Steele knows better than to drop our best pass rusher into coverage on 3rd downs and can scheme up better blitzes than to send a coverage DB on a blitz from 30 yards downfield....

We should be a lot more disciplined and hardnosed under Steele.

I honestly wished that Steele was our DC last year. Pete wasted a lot of talented players on defense considering what we had coming back in 2022.

I mostly amazed these guys can’t wait until after the final scrimmage to enter the portal.

But sucks to lose Fegans. I thought he might develop into a great DB. And his brother is a top prospect in the next class.

I think that he and Jahquez Robinson are very similar players. Maybe we can grab a DB in the portal with these guys gone and the uncertainty surrounding Tony Mitchell.

I never saw it with Fegans. Looked slow on film. Wouldve been a good safety.

The same Arnold that was benched several times last year? He will get better, but Kool-Aid is a 1st round talent. Probably a top 10 pick when you throw in his skills at punt returner.

There's uncertainty regarding Tony Mitchell? That's pretty much a done deal isn't it?

Nick Saban on Georgia, College Football: "We Need to Try and Take It Back"

Saban is looking to return to the top of the college football world after back-to-back national championships won by the Bulldogs.

Kool-Aid is very good but the only reason he's BETTER than Arnold is because he has better fundamentals and technique plus Kool-Aid has played cornerback since like forever.

It was Terrion Arnold's first year as a cornerback. He was like the number one or two safety out of highschool.

Oh I know but some folks tend to forget that plus how scared he was to come down hill to hit somebody.

Kool-Aid runs 4.48-4.55 forty range

Arnold runs 4.35-4.45 forty range
