Cassagrande posted some Tyler Harrell video on Twitter from today’s practice: LINK

He looks slow to me.

Haven’t seen it posted here yet, but Outkick posted a video of Burton pushing/slapping/whatever a female UT fan when they were rushing the field Saturday. Not a good look, will probably get suspended IMO.

So the video shows Burton and a girl crossing paths after the game. She stops right in front of him before scurrying to his right. Burton reaches back and slaps her

Unacceptable and needs to be suspended. Regardless of whether the girl was taunting

He will not be suspended. He didn't do anything wrong.

Those younger guys have proven to be better and more reliable so they should be the ones playing anyways.

I mean on that last pass play Burton didn't even know how to runa hot when he saw them blitzing.

Like dude you're an upperclassmen. They teach you hot routes as a freshman.

Anyways, I don't know why Burton and Holden are in the game if not for run blocking.

Should be Brook, Prentice and Bond. Then Jojo as the 4th WR.

I admit, he committed more crimes DURING the game than after

Jerk move. She got in his face. She rushed the field.

I'm still trying to find a clear video on the actual "hit". All I see is a jumpy twitter video of him kind of shoving her away. Not saying that it is right, but people really need to be careful coming on the field and getting anywhere near an athlete that just lost

Agreed. Athletes shouldn't be able to control their emotions and should react physically to anyone near them.

You're just going to completely gloss over where I said I didn't think it was right? You are allowed to criticize both the player and the person rushing the field

Some tidbits from the SEC coaches teleconference this morning:
quote:

Saban on Tyler Harrell: "He's been practicing. He was actually available for the last game. He's getting more and more reps, more and more comfortable with what he's doing. There's a possibility that he's getting to the point where we can start to use him some."

Potter Tweet

quote:

Saban on the team's response to doing the little things right: "I think they've responded well to it. I know a lot of people are disappointed in the result of the game, but I don't think anybody's as disappointed as we are. So we're all working hard to try to get it right."

Both of these statements can be true:

- Burton shouldn’t hit a fan. Unacceptable even if every fan was yelling stuff at him. I get it and sympathize, but you have to control your emotions.

- People that storm the field are playing frick around and find out. The optics of storming the field produce value for UT than the negatives, but I don’t like that the SEC basically gives these programs a slap on the wrist. Hell, the SEC basically set this scenario up by not punishing UT more after the Ole Miss game last year. That crowd was a powderkeg one way or the other.

I’m not trying to be a curmudgeon because storming the field/court is one of those things that separates college from pros. I get it. It’s just asking for more situations like this to occur. At the end of the day though, the SEC would rather have the content than true safety so I don’t expect Sankey to do anything. I’m honestly surprised incidents like the Burton hit don’t happen more often.

Was just coming to post this . I understand there are a lot of plays / reads/ adjustments etc in a college playbook , but damn it seems you could at least get a few things the receivers know and play them some
