Dont understand how McCullough could play after sucker punching a dude in the back of the head that was walking away, but Vols gonna Vol I guess.

In the back of his head? I read that he had knocked some of the guys teeth out. I believe the charges against him are a felony.

I'll be very surprised if they play the safety. Can you imagine the outrage if Saban did that?

Maybe I misread the article but I thought it said the guy was walking away towards the stairs in the apartment complex when he was punched, then fell down the stairs.

Based on his comments from Hey Coach

Nick Saban's Final Injury Update on Bryce Young Before Tennessee Game Day (SI)

The Alabama quarterback's status won't be determined until Saturday.

Only think I've read Heupel say on the matter is:

"We have not (made a decision on McCollough's status) yet. Our administration is handling most of that. We'll have conversations with them here as they continue to gather information and make a decision on the back end of the week."

Basically I think that means Heupel will play him unless he is told/forced to sit him by the UT administration.

McCullough's attorney released a statement that McCullough "maintains his complete innocence." Sounds like McCullough was forced to follow this guy and knock his arse down a flight of stairs. Had no choice in the matter really.

Does anyone know if Eli Ricks has been practicing? I’m surprised there hasn’t been a reporter or a twitter personality at least comment on if he’s been seen doing drills after his random social media post.

I still think McCullough came home and caught this guy running a go route on his girlfriend. They made up this Petrino-style story to cover that up.

1989 was the last time the Tide and the Vols played when both were undefeated, and both teams were ranked in the Top 10. Siran Stacy took over. And what he overcame later in life is even greater. A terrific read if you have a couple of minutes.

ESPN has non-stop talked about Tennessee these last few days. And the overall consensus is they're going to shred our defense and we'll have to win in a shootout
