BamaCentral 22 for '22: Predicting This Year’s College Football Playoff Teams (SI)
Alabama is a heavy favorite to make a third straight trip to the College Football Playoff, but who else is will be playing for a national title this year?

We need to find a left tackle and a right tackle on the
O-line before we worry about any playoffs. Just think back to the Auburn game and how one position almost cost us the game against a mediocre team. They had a free shot at our QB for the entire game--well until the last drive when we finally substituted. At least we dont have that brain dead offensive line coach anymore. We probably could have put Will Anderson at RT, with no practice, and they would have never touched the QB-from that end.

Hell we were a slightly behind throw Jameson Williams injury (I know I know lame excuse) away from winning a National Championship with that crap o-line. I do agree though with a good line, I think our absolute floor this year is 11-1
With an o-line like last year….well average teams like LSU and Auburn can give us heart attacks in games that had no business being close

the Crimson Tide returns 10 of 11 starters on defense
They must be treating Will Anderson as 3 defenders. I kinda agree

I think Latham will be an answer at RT. I have high hopes there. LT is the bigger question mark. Hopefully Steen is the real deal. I do think we can expect across the board improvements with Wolford in place now. Marrone was practically stealing money last year, it seems we got a real half-assed effort out of him. Saban had to bring in 74 year old Joe Pendry to try and fix things for gods sake.

Are we starting this crap once again? We need to hire a witch doctor or something to get rid of the injury demon in TTown because this happens to us more than other teams year in and year out.

Football has a high rate of injury. We’ve honestly had a little bit of a lucky run without major off-season injuries here.
But hopefully that run will continue. I would not think the worst until something more official comes out. This is the time of year that any guys who had “clean up” type procedures done in May/June will be mid-rehab.

The pics show him on crutches and a brace. Looks like post knee surgery

Yes pic doesn't look good. Bummer, because I was most excited about him from the FR receivers. Good thing we hit the portal and got Burton and TY. Hope Brooks is 100% after his injury too.

So Javion Cohen has been in a substance abuse recovery facility for a month? The same one in Massachusetts that Dane Shor just entered after transferring out after one semester at Alabama.
