I wish the staff would go ahead and put someone else at left tackle. Just based off the eyeball test no way Randolph can hold up physically. Love the way they show loyalty to players who stick around tho.

Randolph hasn't practiced this spring.

Dropped passes was the issue. At this point, we gotta get a graduate transfer.

I was wrong. I read the article wrong. He hasn't practiced at TE this spring, but he's working with OL.

If he's still starting left tackle come start of the season I will not feel at all good about the o-line again.

If we land Steen I imagine Randolph will move to TE.

Scrimmage nuggets:

At this point, the offensive line has a lot further to go than the defensive line, but that news shouldn’t come as a surprise. Alabama’s defensive front is arguably the most seasoned position group on the team, especially when getting further into the depth. Plus, the offensive line is trying to replace both tackles from last season and has two potential starters out for the spring.

Speaking of the offensive line, the first-team group to start today’s scrimmage included Kendall Randolph at left tackle, Javion Cohen at left guard, Seth McLaughlin at center, Damieon George at right guard and JC Latham at right tackle. This has become a fairly consistent look this spring with Amari Kight also seeing time with the first team at left tackle.

That being said our defensive ends are elite. Also our defensive tackles have a lot of experience and size.

Sounds like the defense is going to be really legit barring injuries. There's serious talent, experience and competition everywhere. Branch is going to be an All American this year. Also good to see so much competition at the inside linebacker position. Blackshire is a beast and it looks like Lawson may over take Moody before long.

Brockermeyers might be misevaluations. Sad to say.

I don't think so. At least not yet.

Tommy had a pretty significant shoulder injury in high school that he has yet to completely recover from.

James was also undersized. Give them another year in the program and hopefully they become monsters.

The question is will they stick it out and allow their bodies to develop or hit the portal?

I'm giving the Brockermeyers the benefit of the doubt but this is their second spring in Tuscaloosa, we've recruited lights out for the OL, and we're hoping we get a grad transfer from Vandy? I can say the same thing for the WR group as well.

Everyone has misevaluations.

Is this a joke? They haven't even finished their freshman year.

Barely. They enrolled in January 2011, then sat out a solid part of spring until spring scrimmages started
