I think it's a misquote. Will Anderson is 2nd in sacks per game. He leads the nation in sacks.
Andre Carter II, from Army has 13.5 sacks in 11 games for an avg of 1.23
Whereas, Will Anderson has 14.5 sacks in 12 games for an avg of 1.21.

Think it's the kid from Michigan, Hutchison or something like that. It seemed like he had 30 sacks against tOSU.
I remember them stating he was behind Will by 1 at the beginning of the game and I think he got 3 for real.

With at least 2 more games left to play it's conceivable that he ends up with 40 TFLs in a single season.

The stat of the game -- Alabama's John Metchie was targeted 24 times. He had 13 catches for 150. But man, that shows how unlikely this win was with Jameson Williams ejected.
Per Pete Thamel.
If Bryce couldn't find Metchie. He wouldn't throw it, it seemed. Billingsley and Slade caught two very important throws but it seemed like Bryce was locked in on Metchie at times.
