I haven't seen anything indicating there will be any changes. We can all hope though lol

although I noticed Randolph in a 60 jersey in practice photos. Rather than his 85 TE jersey. Might mean nothing, but he was slated to start at RT before the season.
Ahh, this is interesting! Good eye

Alabama football took to social media on Tuesday to announce the passing of former offensive linemen Grant Hill.
“Grant Hill was a wonderful human and teammate and friend,” the post from the official Alabama football twitter account stated. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”
Though details of Hill’s death are unclear as of now, the Alabama Crimson Tide community will surely remember the 6-foot-6 offensive linemen who joined the team in 2013 as one of the top prospects in the country.
“You couldn’t ask for a guy [who] has better intangibles,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said about Hill as a freshman in an article with ESPN. “When you have great intangibles, that’s what helps you sort of accomplish whatever your goals are, whatever your vision is for what you want to do.”
Hill played for the Alabama football program from 2013-2015 and was utilized primarily in a reserve role on the offensive line. The Huntsville Ala. native was a four-star recruit in the class of 2013. He was also a standout track and field athlete coming out of high school.
Scott Sharp, who served as Hill’s football coach before he made the move to the collegiate ranks, praised the former Crimson Tide big man for his work ethic.
“Usually, the guys who are bigger may not have that hunger or that desire, but Grant is an extremely hard worker whether it’s in the weight room or on the field,” Scott Sharp, Hill’s coach at Huntsville High, told ESPN at the time of his commitment. “He has that meanness that you look for in those offensive linemen. He really has the desire to finish plays, finish blocks. And to not just block folks, but maul them.”
Hill’s former Alabama football teammate Anthony Steen echoed that sentiment.
“He’s fast and strong, which I wasn’t expecting that,” UA right guard Steen said during Hill’s freshman campaign. He obviously wants to start. Every day he gets up at 6 a.m.”
Hill was just 26 years old at the time of his death.

Wish they didn't put us so high so we could use that as a chip of motivation

SEC and National Title opportunities aren't enough motivation?

Considering how hard it has been to get these kids to focus?
No

We'll probably drop before the Iron Bowl once Ohio State beats Michigan State.

If losing to A&M hasn't convinced them to stay focused, they're in deep trouble.

If that is true then Nick made some mistakes in character evaluations.

..or teenagers can be complacent when they join a winning program or have success.
Heck adults do.
That's why Saban hammers the process, growth, learning from mistakes and always respecting winning and opponents.
Yeah, that seems more accurate.

Yeah right. I guess if you have to kiss their azz to get them then expect to have to continue to keep them?
It's funny how the game has changed since the late 90's as far as players.

Yep
I actually remember when players didn't run around and flex after making a tackle (during a 65 yard drive against them that ended in a TD). Imagine that.

quote:I mean they already have 2 losses in the division, and if we lose again none of that really matters. We are not getting in playoffs with another loss, and if we lose to any of the remainder of our schedule we would get killed in the playoffs even if we made it. I'd rather see Auburn take a division loss at this juncture
I can not believe I want AU to beat aTm.
But it will eliminate aTm from the the SECCG.

I am always for AU taking a loss. Kind of brings a tear to your eye ...aight

I don’t want a AU team playing for the West title at JHS. I think Bama and Saban 0-3 against AU under those circumstances. They need to lose. And I hope they lose another game to MSU next week after playing back to back tough games.

The West wasn't on the line when Bama lost to Auburn in 19.
Bama just doesn't do well JHS. 5-10 all time there, with 3 undefeated Bama teams losing their 1st game of the season there.
How Bama loses is the real kicker. 95, 97, 13, 19 all have had ridiculous endings.
