Give me Pruitt and Bo Davis. Say what you want about either of them, they never had a stretch of YEARS of shitty defenses like Pete. Pruitt had the most fun defense to watch as a fan. Got roasted some, but aggressive as hell, mean and they would take your head off.

Did you forget the performance of the defense against Florida in the SEC Championship game?

No. I think the poster got Jay Barker confused with Greg McElroy.

Hell yes. Bring Bo home.

Bo Davis will never work at Alabama again. Did people just forget why he left?

Gmac has been on every morning this week. And, his buddies were just repeating exactly what Gmac and Cole said on Monday morning about Alabama's problems vs FL. . They are actually good to listen to because they know football at a high level.
And, to the poster that said our DC's defense is too complicated. That is probably right, except it is not his defense. It's Sabans. Just like our OC has said several times, this is not his offense, it is Saban's offense. Pruitt got Saban to simplify the play calling when he was at Alabama. But, it is still a problem against fast paced teams. And it will be vs Ole Miss, again.
One thing I wish we would do on offense, is let our third string QB run the speed option, some. They basically only let him run the ball anyway, so why not put that in so our defense can see it in practice. They might have done that for FL week, but run it all the time.

If we are waiting on Pruitt to be cleared, Golding is probably safe for years to come.

You’re likely right about Bo. But some fairly mundane recruiting violations are pretty tame compared to what many of our rivals do regularly. Plus does the NCAA really have any teeth left at this point? Power 5 could just decide to break off at any point they wish.

Bo Davis is the DL coach at Texas now.

Sure, but lying to Saban about it is not.

I am both confused and concerned about Brice Young at this point. I try to temper this with he has only started 3 games. He seems to have trouble throwing the deep ball. I rationalize this by putting significant blame on the receivers. He seems not to want to take advantage of his run opportunities. This appeared to cost at least one touchdown again Florida. I do not know if he has been told to not run or to limit his runs because of depth issues. Then he makes some comments on hid podcast about African American quarterbacks being labeled as not going through their progressions. I find this disappointing. I don’t want him to carry the flag for African American quarterbacks but to be the quarterback for the university of Alabama.
I hope to either see a different Brice Young going forward or to gain a better understanding of who he is

Well, for one thing, he's a guy who spells his name "Bryce."

Why can't he do both? There's no reason he can't represent his heritage and be the QB for Bama.

I agree with you about him being able to do both. It just appeared in the Florida game going through his progressions were more important than making first downs and touchdowns. I would have never considered this about African American quarterbacks until he brought it up

Need to rest BRob and get him ready for OM. Time for 21, 6 and 23 to step up and carry the rushing load.
