Yea, I’m rooting for Trey. I don’t believe he has a “now or never” season ahead of him. It’s all “now” at this point. The young guy has has bad luck. Let’s wish him the best this season and hope that he makes it in the pros. He’s just been snakebit so far, hopefully, it won’t last forever. He’s proven that you don’t want a “now or never” label on a guy with tons of heart.
but only 1 football related injury since he's been at UA so not bad injury luck like Tua had. Before the auto accident he was starting to appear to be totally healthy after the foot injury of his first year. He also appeared to be a very good running back, so I'd disagree with those who say he's showed nothing to indicate he wont' be that.

It seems to me that Paul Tyson does well every time there is a scrimmage. Maybe he has a little bit of Mac Jones in him.

I agree "Paul" Tyson does well in scrimmages.

But can he do well in games?

This. It's like people forget his injury last year had literally nothing to do with football, or anything athletic-related.
Could one classify it as having "injury bad luck?" I suppose. But you can't exactly hold being a passenger in a car accident against the guy.
Sounds like he's really bounced back, though. Hoping he continues to progress and gets an opportunity to show off what a lot of recruiting analysts saw in him a few years ago

I'd be more excited if SEC officials called holding. I'm still salty about seeing Tim Williams's jersey getting pulled off on every other play.

Just one sack by Tim on that last Clemson drive and Bama does the 3 peat (2016)
One sack that never happened.
One sack that never happened.

Not sure why you got downvotes. Story has really started to flash.

I don't think anyone is holding a car accident against the guy but the point still stands that he's had two significant injuries in two years. I don't think anyone would blame him if he did very well this year and then declared. I think it's a bit more realistic to have him this year and next year, regardless of eligibility.

Believe everyone will have an opp to see the answer to this question during the 2nd half of the Opening game.... and if not, surely in the 2nd one. I would hope that the 2nd/3rd QBs would be allowed a bit more than "mop up" duties and would be allowed some passing attempts.
