I don’t expect insightful commentary from Larry Leo but c’mon. You’d think Chicken would view articles/links as a way to drive traffic and not just spam the board with bullshite. But what do I know.

Sorry, but I never understood the deal with Ben Davis. He was a 5-Star legacy whose dad played lights out for Bama. A description of Ben was he looked like Tarzan but played like Jane. I understand he is a nice guy who gave his best but was never going to crack the lineup. So the only thing I can think of is that he was, as far as football goes, dumb as a box of rocks. If that's true why wasn't that discovered when he was being recruited?

Ben wasn't dumb. His work ethic wasn't strong early in Alabama career. It took him a serious while before he realized he had to put work in. The last two years he made a huge progress. If he had put in more extra efforts in early career, I think he would've been real good player and starting last year.

Feel bad for the kid. I thought somewhere around 5th. He looked terrible this year. If he was hurt that bad he should've sit out.
