It'll never be that strong in northern mississippi anyway.
It seems that some folks don't realize that.

By god when I played back in the day you had to walk to the game up hill (both ways) in the snow and the rain. Then the neighborhood dogs chased your arse, had to fight them off.
Them boys are tough... they’ll be all right. Damn man... it’s football.

LSU and Missouri don't play each other every year.
South Carolina had to change a home game against LSU in 15 to a road game. They play again this year and it's at LSU again.
Florida had to change a home game against LSU to a road game in 16. LSU had to play at Florida the next two years and LSU had to play 5 SEC road games in 17.

I live in northern MS and I can’t remember but one (Katrina ) where we had power issues and noticeable winds that would affect a Game
I just don’t see it being an issue besides rain... we get plenty of that off hurricanes

This schedule for the fall is not a normal schedule though. So it is not like it will affect anything going forward. We originally not scheduled to play Mizzou or Kent. So moving the game if needed should not affect anything moving forward.

The LSU/South Carolina game was an originally scheduled game.
LSU added Vandy and Missouri. So SC never got that home game back that they lost in 15.

How long are y'all gonna keep arguing about irrelevant scenarios?

I made a statement and was trying to clarify to the response made to it. You seem confused as there is no argument. Unless you are trying to argue with me regarding my purpose in the posts.

LINK ]The Later the Better: Why the SEC Pushed Alabama at Ole Miss Kickoff Back Due to Hurricane Delta (SI)
quote:
![]()
As Hurricane Delta began to pound the Golf Coast nearly a day before landfall, the SEC announced that Saturday's kickoff time for Alabama at Ole Miss has been pushed back from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
On face value, the SEC's Thursday announcement didn't make much sense. Most forecasts showed that the heart of the storm was expected to be so close to Oxford, Miss., during the game that it could could be counted in the attendance at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.
It's because the worst part of the storm is expected to be on the front end, or as the SEC said in its release: "The change in start time was made to provide a forecast for better game conditions." ...
Saturday evening forecast for Oxford, MS: Intermittent rain and westerly 6 mph wind.
