Idk... I’m tired of talking about the labor pains. I’m ready to see the baby.

And I hope it’s a 15lb pissed off baby boy with a full grown beard and nuts the size of softballs looking to whoop-arse against all the other babies in the conf.

I don’t see how Sanders isnt listed at number 2 alone.

Drew is. Trey isn't. Chart corrected to:

Hellams, per BOL & insiders.

Really don’t like Waddle/Smith at KR. Those two are too valuable to risk on a kickoff IMO.

I expected waddle to be on KR but was shocked smitty is the second one of the pair.
Although weight wise Simth Plays bigger than he is.
I was expecting Metchie ,slade or sanders instead of risking both experience WR's.
Glad the kid Baker is second behind smitty on depth charts and should get to see some prime minutes in relief.

You put your best two returners out there at the same time so the kicker can't just kick it away from the dangerous returner. Waddle and Smitty are both dangerous threats to break long returns, even TDs.

I understand your point but we did not do that last yr when we had more seasoned depth at WR.
Smitty is a flat out baller and it may also say that
we must really feel good about our young WR talent.

Smitty also was a gunner on punt coverage and could have been a serious DB if he was bigger weight wise.
I saw him play live in high school and knew he would ball out at Bama. Its why I am also wso high on baker the young WR !

Not surprised Slade isn’t back for KR. He’s had some big blocks there. Personal favorite is Waddle’s Auburn TD. Go back and watch again. Slade throws an Auburn player into another one and springs Waddle. As far as PR, I’m guessing that is when up big and he’s back there to just be sure handed/fair catch.

I wanna see Slade used like they did Waddle last year in the offense. Swing passes near the sidelines and let him create something. He has that wiggle and toughness to turn a 2 yd pass into a big gainer. Just my opinion tho.

It appears our 2020 Crimson Tide team is shaping up well, with the talented starters and depth needed to be a legit contender to win a national title. It also appears our biggest drop offs to the backups are behind three very important guys in Moses, Leatherwood and Neal. Let's pray those three stay healthy.

As of right now, I’d put MAC Jones in this category too. Hopefully, by the second half of the season, it won’t be the case

Maybe you're right, but I think Young would be surrounded by so much talent that he'd be alright and would come up to speed pretty quickly if he had to take over for Mac. Moses, Leatherwood and Neal are probable All-Americans. Imo the guys backing them up arent nearly as close to them talent-wise as Bryce is to Mac. At least Bryce has the necessary talent and intangibles to excel, but he does need more practice reps and some in-game experience.

The only gap between Mac and Young is the knowledge, in my opinion. Experience isn’t really that much of an advantage for Mac, but he’s been in the system so long now, that he has to know much more than Young at this stage.

Mac said Bryce has already learned the offense well. Saban also says Bryce has learned and executed the offense pretty well but needs more reps to gain more consistency.

The entire offensive line is All American level. This group is loaded with talent and experience. I can't wait to see the ground game.
