The receiver was having to reach over his head to catch many of the slant type passes or in routes. They were in stride but high. No one wants to catch a high pass over the middle. Just my opinion.

Got me thinking about Jerry Maguire and Rod Tidwell

He was throwing a bunch of passes high, early in the video. I hope he’s just a little bit rusty.

He threw a couple of the slants a bit high, but those passes towards the sideline early on were textbook placement. I watched the whole video and only counted about 4 bad throws. He also has absolutely incredible footwork.

Ryan Abraham (shot the video) comments:

"He was throwing with Miller Moss (new USC commit) and Tyler Buchner (ND commit) and their QB coach Taylor Kelly (former ASU QB). Both Moss and Buchner earned invites to the Elite 11 Finals. Young's footwork on the drills really stood out among the three QBs there. He can move around the pocket really well. And, especially on those deep balls, there was an effortlessness there with his throws. Also, all 3 receivers they were throwing to were like 5-8, so not big targets."

Just passed the band field on University boulevard in Tuscaloosa. There were about 30 football players out there working out. Looked like a lot were running 100 yard sprints. #nodaysoff

So the June 8th date is just the day they can start using the athletic facilities? Since a bunch moved in this week, I wonder whether they have access to the new athlete dining facility yet.

Probably. There's less chance of exposure to COVID19 for them to eat there than anywhere else.

Yep. George is too fat. He's about to get put on a much healthier diet and put in some serious S&C work to overhaul his body. He's gotta trade out much of his bad weight (fat) for good weight (muscles).

He'll have time to overhaul his body as he'll start way down the depth chart to begin with. Remember that DJ Fluker came into UA weighing nearly 400 pounds.

Reminds me of Deionte Brown when he first came in also, I can see George going down that same path

Yep. Brown has trimmed down considerably since he first came on campus. Which is saying something considering he's a large guy now. George has plenty of time to transform his body and become a beast on the offensive line. The guy is like 6-8, 350 or something like that.
