Here’s a list of the first head coaches of SEC teams that I can remember.
Alabama- Bear Bryant
Auburn- Pat Dye
Georgia- Vince Dooley
Ole Miss- Billy Brewer
Miss St.- Rockey Felker
LSU- Mike Archer
Vanderbilt- Watson Brown
Kentucky- Jerry Claiborne
Florida- Galen Hall
Tennessee- Johnny Majors
5 are dead and two of those passed away just this week.

Watched most of these videos and a few more from a different trainer, I know it’s drill videos but Waddle is something special to watch.
I have a feeling Metchie will fill the void pretty nicely as well.

Waddle is just a freak. Even how highly we view him, I still feel like he is undervalued.

Metchie is legit. I think many people are overlooking him.

Baker has all the makings of a clutch possession guy. Once he refines his route running and gets a little quicker in our S &C he’s gonna be hard to keep off the field. Kevin Norwood type dude.

The issue is that Norvell lied about talking to his players about a hot button issue that is personal many of them. The odds that Saban would do the same are essentially zero.

We already are. With the gymnastics program. Although it is more akin with what is going on at Clemson.
What Norvell did was stupid. Why lie? He could have easily just said “we have reached out to all our players about the situation”. There wouldn’t be a controversy. Never a good time to seen untrustworthy as a new head coach, but it is exacerbated by the current climate.

Yea and what sucks is that 100 players proudly repping Alabama after they leave is completely drowned out by 1 player speaking about a specific incident
I think we’re fine at the top though. For as big of a bastard as Saban is as a coach past players seem to love the guy

I may have heard this wrong but I think I just heard Aaron Suttles say on radio that 5 of our guys tested positive for Covid19 and all were Asymptomatic

Yeah but the gymnastics situation looks pretty ugly. Basically, one gymnast called out racist behavior by staff and other team members and she's been ostracized. And the report made it sound like administration gave it a cursory investigation and blew it off. Now it may be one disgruntled team member but the report was pretty negative towards Alabama and its handling of the situation.
