His dad played professionally. His mom played either tennis or soccer at Mercer. His sister played at College of Charleston. His brother played soccer at Mercer.

Pretty athletic family.

His sister has transferred to Alabama. Not sure if she’s on the tennis team or not though

There's definitely some overlap between this thread and the Recruiting & Roster thread in the area of roster management (which is so intertwined with recruiting that I integrated it into that thread), especially this time of year when there's roster attrition to fit the new class in under the 85 cap. So I've been posting news about players leaving or staying in both threads. I mentioned that I pray Leatherwood and Neal stay healthy in the post about Lashley transferring, and here we are

Neal will play OT for us. He was recruited to play there.
He only played OG this year because we had Leatherwood and Wills at OT and he was too good to sit on the bench.

I know, but Cobrasize seems dead set against Neal moving to OT

Some chatter tonight that Freddie Roach is expected to join Bama's staff as DL Coach, with Brian Baker potentially taking over the position vacated by Burton Burns. Tim Watts heard it from 3 "usually reliable" sources and an OM source as well. A connected poster on BOL said he's hearing the same and here's a Drew DeArmond tweet about it.

How is Roach as a recruiter? I seem to think he’s pretty dang good, but I’m not sure

I guess we can assume compliance didn't go with the Bo Davis back to Bama deal?

Everything I seen is saying recruits (and the players he coaches) love him.

I'm not sure if Bo Davis is completely off the table yet?

Roach could always slide to ILB, he has coached both in the past.

Bama spending money trying to find someone to coach up the DL.

Kuligowski was out of football this season after being fired by the Crimson Tide following his first year with the team.

Despite not working for Alabama this season, Kuligowski was paid $933,793 by Alabama in 2019, according to the university’s financial database. Kuligowski, who was owed the money for the second year of his two-year, $750,000 per year contract, was paid an average of $62,530 per month as well as two one-time payments of $120,000 and $63,433.
