At least Leatherwood and Moses are coming back. That OL next year is going to be nasty. Moses is that alpha dog MLB that Saban's defense has to have.

Galu probably sees it as Saban and Bama trying to keep Tua there

But the money hungry NFL agents have the best intentions lol

Can't fault Tua no matter what his (or his dad's) decision is, I wish him well

I am hopeful #6 returns. #4 and #11 are great but #6 is a great college football player. He catches everything for the most part. #13 needs to go. Just treat like he never got hurt since he was leaving the program after 3. If Lia is taken out by Big Daddy then Nick will have to get a grad transfer to help out the roster.

If his hip is really that messed up, he probably needs to go get what money he can get.

I kind of want Tua to say it’s my life and pick but we all know that almost never happens.

Galu knows lia is not Tua, he just wants him to gain experience when he transfers.

Man I hate that about his hip. He's always bounced back from injuries I just assumed he would be fine after recover.

Oh its like that up here in North AL too.

I watched a kid with multiple solid FCS offers go walk-on at Tennessee because he and his parents swore he was better than FCS.

Parents are delusional.

My worry is that teams aren't going to want to draft him if his hip is being rated a C- or D+ and then he falls way low, like out of the 1st round

If his hip is that messed up no one is paying him money except an insurance company.

Are you people serious?

That still wouldn't be the end of the world. Eventually the cream rises to the top in the NFL. Look at Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott. Both outperformed their draft slot by a mile and made GMs look like fools.

With Tua's accuracy, even if he drops, he still has the tangible

Yeah. Getting a bad diagnosis vs. getting drafted in the 1st rd.

It can't be both.

Not adding up.

Just to reiterate, I think we have the most important junior (Moses) coming back. Now, we just have to sit back and hope for some defensive coaching changes. I think Mac has proven himself against a couple of good defenses. The only big question marks are Metchie, Townsend, and Shavers stepping up. Maybe we’ll see Bolden more as well.

But guaranteed 1st round money, or a lot less money and the worry that Tua is injury prone. What if he gets hurt again and never makes it past that rookie contract

So damn what? You act like only getting a rookie contract is a bad thing. There are no guarantees in life. The best move, in my opinion, was always for Tua to go to the NFL. The risks are too big in coming back to college football.

That's what I'm saying. That whole story sounds like total bullshite. If his hip is that bad we aren't talking about him falling into the early 2nd round anymore. He'd be extremely lucky to get drafted. A negative prognosis being the impetus for his father to force him to go pro makes absolutely no sense. If they told him his hip was good, not great then I'd get it. But a D+ on an A-F scale sounds like "well you'll be able to walk with only a slight limp for the rest of your life". Not "go get paid now son".
