I'm watching a show in SEC Network called Read & React, with Roman Harper and another dude. The show is awesome. Roman is breaking down film showing things that save and talked about in his postgame interview. It's really cool on informative. And since it was the SEC championship, it's only film from that game. This is probably the best show on any ESPN Network.

Cole is AU but not a homer and really gives great insight. He does a blog/write up after the weekend with a short write up of the SEC games and how each team played. Great OL analysi

One of the smarter guys on TV. You can tell he was an o lineman. Most of those dudes have more brains than your average athletes.

Crazy that someone would leave before a chance at a ring.

Something I thought about that I haven’t really seen mentioned yet:

Do we think we will see any of our assistant coaches on the move after this season?

When is the next opportunity these guys have to transfer? I can understand wanting to put yourself on the market if you have to wait a while.

The NCAA has created two transfer portal windows for college football players. The first window is from December 4, 2023 to January 2, 2024 and the second window is from April 15-30, 2024

I think Steele and Rees are a 2yr commitment. My guess is any staff attrition is in the position groups. May be a pretty stable year for once.

TRob seems poised to get a shot as a DC somewhere. With Steele and Bala both in the booth, TRob has been invaluable on the sidelines coaching up the defense when they come off the field. Plus, he's a great recruiter.

Although, maybe Saban plans to make him the DC after next year

Crimson Tide Football Well-Represented on Associated Press All-SEC Teams

Alabama had 10 total selections while Caleb Downs was named the conference’s Newcomer of the Year

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team had 10 student-athletes earn a spot on the Associated Press' 2023 All-Southeastern Conference Teams, the organization announced Monday afternoon.

The first-team honorees included JC Latham (OT) and Tyler Booker (OG) on offense; Dallas Turner (LB) and Kool-Aid McKinstry (CB) on defense; and Will Reichard (PK) on special teams.

Alabama's second-team selections were made up of Jalen Milroe (QB) on the offensive side of the ball and Justin Eboigbe (DT), Chris Braswell (LB), Terrion Arnold (CB) and Caleb Downs (S) on defense.

In addition to Downs' second-team selection, the freshman defensive back was selected as the AP's Newcomer of the Year.

Wow! Who would have ever thought we'd see this after the start he had to the year? And against UGA of all teams.

Our offensive coaches have done a great job this year. They coached those guys up across the board.
