I feel like we need something extra offensively to win this game. I think our receivers are good, they should get some. I feel Milro is what he is, he should get what he can get, but our run game is just not coming up with any big plays. by big play I mean break a tackle inside and gash them for 10 more yards and a first down. They pretty much hit the ground where they are first contacted. We need some josh jacobs type of runs. not just one. we need one or two in every quarter. Milro isn't good at the intermediate passing and runs like this to me would push us over the top

I can see Turner having a monster game on Saturday, especially considering what happened last year. He has the athleticism to terrorize Daniels.

Have to get the run game clicking...power game right at them. Let's have a fast start and not spot them 10 points before waking up. Spy on Daniels... just don't let QB runs keep the D on the field on third downs.
And the flip side is that Milroe should embrace being a dual threat...which means some designed QB runs. This is a game where you leave it all on the field.

Agree on Daniels. CANNOT lose contain on that guy and must keep him in front of the pass rush. That and have a spy on him. This is absolutely critical.

Haven't heard much on injuries so I'm assuming Moore and a few others that were dinged up are fine?

We play mostly man defense. It’s hard to have it both ways of playing good coverage and eliminating the QB scramble. We could either see more zone in this game (doubt) or just live with the fact that Daniels is going to get his on the ground (likely).
You can spy but you can’t do it all game, you could fill a playbook an inch thick just with “spy beaters.”
The most important player in this game for us on defense is Tim Keenan. We need to push the pocket from the inside and not give Daniels a clean space to step into and take off. It’s pretty rare that we get gashed by QBs scrambling around the edge but we are very susceptible up the gut, again, the nature of playing cover 1 or cover 0. If Oatis and Keenan can muck up the pocket we will be in good shape.
Priority #1 has to be shutting down the run though. I don’t care how good Daniels is, if we can force them to be one dimensional it will work greatly in our favor. Ole Miss found that out

Notice to Alabama Football Fans Concerning Counterfeit Tickets
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama is looking forward to welcoming another sellout crowd when the Crimson Tide football team hosts LSU Saturday night at Bryant-Denny Stadium. With that, the UA Athletic Ticket Office wishes to remind fans of the potential danger of being sold counterfeit tickets at Tide home games.
If fans have any doubt about the validity of their tickets, they can visit the UA Athletic Ticket Office at Coleman Coliseum to verify their tickets during regular business hours, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. On gameday, those tickets can be verified by University officials beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT at East Will-Call (near Gate 44), and beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT at Northwest Will-Call (near Gate 4).
Unfortunately, counterfeit tickets – sold on the internet and by individuals around the stadium and on campus on game day – can lead to some fans being defrauded. The UA Athletic Ticket Office would like to remind fans that any person who purchases a stolen or counterfeit ticket may be denied admission at the gates and any individual trying to gain entry with a ticket found to be fraudulent could be subject to investigation. Also, any person in the stadium who is caught with a stolen or counterfeit ticket will be ejected.
The lone authorized primary outlet for Alabama football tickets is the UA Athletic Ticket Office. Fans may also utilize SeatGeek, the authorized secondary marketplace, for game tickets. Buyers who purchase tickets from other sources do so at their own risk.

He didn't say we don't have anyone as good or better than Perkins. He just said that they wouldn't be playing on the scout team if we did. He knows Turner and Braswell are. He's being complimentary of our opponent like he always is while also making a soft jab at a reporter.

All recently-injured players have been full participants at practice this week.
Fresh off its bye week, the Crimson Tide is about as healthy as you can be in Week 10.
