The No. 11/8 Alabama football team dominated the second half on its way to a 34-20 come-from-behind victory over No. 17/15 Tennessee Saturday in front of a sold-out crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Crimson Tide trailed 13-0 early and entered the locker room at halftime trailing 20-7. However, UA scored on its first four drives of the second half and went on to outscore UT 27-0 over the final 30 minutes of play. With the victory, Alabama sits in the driver's seat for the SEC West title at 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the league. The Crimson Tide can secure its spot in the SEC Championship game with a win in its next contest (Nov. 4 vs. LSU).

Alabama dominated the statistics over the final 30 minutes of the game, limiting Tennessee to 129 total yards and 3.9 yards per play in the second half compared to 225 total yards and 7.0 yards per play for UA. Deontae Lawson led the defense with 12 tackles for the game, with Jihaad Campbell adding 10 tackles and a fumble recovery that he ran back for a touchdown. In all, the Alabama defense combined for eight tackles for loss, four sacks and four pass breakups.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe completed 14 of his 21 passes for 220 and a pair of scores, marking the fifth time in seven starts this season that he has thrown for at least 220 yards and at least two touchdowns. Jermaine Burton had four catches for 62 yards and a touchdown while Isaiah Bond also found paydirt, finishing with three catches for 77 yards.

Running back Jase McClellan once again led the ground attack, finishing with 115 of the Crimson Tide's 138 total rushing yards.

ALABAMA: Nice win. Great turnaround in 2nd half. The plan on offense seemed to marry up a little more this week. More creativity in run game & with designed Q runs. Still a couple misfires by the QB. Pass pro a little dicey but OL was strong in 2nd half. RT & LG played well. 2 ran hard. Like how he decides to get north/south. Still need better ball security. Good plan on def. Lighter box but still varied looks. Still a few bad matchups down the field. Def did nice job of not letting run game turn upfield on the outside. 96 plugged the middle well. 32 fierce. 30 played well. 41 play of the game, elite hand work on that rush. Played lighter in box & limited explosives in 2nd half.

TENNESSEE: Tough one. Started out great. Pass rush was strong. Interior guys got moved a bit too much. Stayed aggressive with calls & lost the QB a few times. Had to get him down. Played fast. We're getting off field. Took ball away. 27 really good. Not in on a few critical downs. 19 played well, lined in lot of spots. 2 had a good game. QB did a nice job taking free grass early. Like the option plays to set things up in 1st half. Couple misses & drops that really hurt. 0 ran hard. OL effort was really good, 76 stuck out there. 32 was exceptional. Couldn't bust the big runs. Got in space a few times. Couple brutal calls but plays were there to be made.
