So, so glad that idiot isn't working our sideline this season.

Doesn't his 3rd and 4th point contradict his 2nd point regarding Milroe.

Our safety’s were hybrid types last season.
They could simply not man up a WR, but we’re great in run support.

Pair this with being put out of position by bad coaching, and they were just non factors against some teams.

While Downs looks like an OLB, he possesses every tool in football Home Depot. He’s going to be generational.

Tackling as a whole has been focused on this season imo. I got pretty tired of seeing To’oto’o and Branch flying full speed into running backs and shoving them while they picked up 5 more yards.

I bet we'll see stacked WR formations on Saturday and I imagine we'll also see Worthy in the slot a bit, mostly because it's very difficult to press a guy in the slot.

Sark loves those stacked formations, guarantee he tests us deep to see if we've made adjustments from last year.

They have tons of talent at WR, we are going to find out if our scheme and secondary are what we think it is.

Saturday's game is going to be all about execution. The players do what they have been taught we win the game. Based off the first game they seem to be buying in and I expect a win.

When you're talking about DBs I'm not a huge fan of sending out safeties at 75% to chase elite receivers on vertical routes.

I just hope if they do suit up that they're closer to 100% than 70%.

If we can stop the run then we can put another corner on the field.

It’s going to be important to shut down the run early.

Per Nick Kelly, Coach Saban said Jaylen Key and Malachi Moore are able to practice.

Nick Saban on Malachi Moore and Jaylen Key: "They're able to practice." He said the "big question" is how close they can get to 100% by game time. "That's not something we can comment on until they get to that point."

Saban said Jihaad Campbell should be "OK to play in the game, provided there's not a setback between now and then."

Dude on BOL just posted this:

My practice source told me “Moore is fine, but Key had a black jersey on yesterday and didn’t run routes or anything”.

Ugh, any word on what Key's injury actually is? Also, I imagine that person meant Key wasn't covering any routes (unless we're moving Key to WR)

Bama's 2 penalties are the fewest since playing Arkansas in 2020. In other words, Bama never had so few penalties when Bill OBrien was on staff.

Neither penalty was on the offense either.

One was a roughing the passer on Oatis and the other a hold on a punt return.

Pretty incredible after the amount of penalties we racked up all last season.
