Pretty anxious about Malachi and Key. Need them on the field.

CodeName said Key would be good to go. Maybe CodeName will provide another update at some point this week.

That's excellent news - I combed the thread to look for his assessment but didn't see it.

So I'm going to the game this weekend and it has occurred to me that I'm probably going to be sitting with Texas fans. Our tickets are in the upper deck of the North Endzone.

No problem!
If Key is good to go and only Moore sits out, I wonder who is going to play Star. Seems like you either put Little there, or Arnold moves to Star and Amos plays CB.
As well as Moore has played, his weakness is covering guys deep, so it might actually be beneficial to have a faster guy like Little or Arnold at Star against Texas.

Was it Little who had the diving interception at A Day?

Yes. He is backup at Star I think

Little looked pretty lost Saturday night in his limited action. Hopefully just a blip. He's certainly physically talented enough to be a great player.

I think it was Little who missed the tackle that led to their TD.

I forgot that Aaron Anderson landed at LSU after he went into the portal.
There is a thread on the tiger rant saying that he underwhelmed on Sunday. Stat sheet says he had 1 catch for 7 yards.

Fumbled a punt, misplayed another.

Yeah he was pretty bad. They have a solid group of WRs/TEs though. Nabors, Thomas, and Taylor are all good players. I am still baffled that, despite fielding a Golding defense, we couldn't do shite to stop Daniels though.

Daniels is a good player. He's not Heisman material like he was being hyped, but he looked pretty poised for 3 quarters at least against FSU. Things really fell apart after Lacey dropped a perfect pass that he very well could have taken to the house, and then it looked like his WR slipped on his break and the db had an easy pick.
but yeah, to your point, no way we should have let him run for 95 yards on us.

The starting Texas RB who left Saturday's game with an injury (CJ Baxter) was back at practice yesterday. Not that it matters since they're so deep at RB, but it'll be interesting to see if he has any lingering effects from the injury (it seemed like it was a shoulder/clavicle deal).

LSU might have the best WRs in the country. Their WRs are so good Keon Coleman didn't even get an offer from them coming out of high school. They are super deep at WR yet Daniels can't take advantage of their WR talent because of his limited skill set. That's why people are critical of Daniels.

They are decent at WR. Neighbors is their best wideout and Herbstreit kept talking about how elite he is on Sunday, but I'm not buying it. He is a good WR, but not a great one. Thomas is pretty good. Lacey is not very good at all.

I was thinking about this watching Damieon George play for Florida.
A common trope these days is that teams/coaches can simply rebuild using the portal.
However, no one really seems to take note that the guys available in there just might not be all that good.
