Gonna find out a lot this Saturday, but I really like what this team has going on right now. Similar to 2008 or 2014.

Saban just said in his press conference that Malachi and Key are both day to day.

Emmanuel Henderson is going to be out several more weeks with a hip injury.

Anyone else kind of enjoying not having a superstar on the team giving us immensely high expectations?

It's actually refreshing having a group of dudes no one in the media is highlighting on a consistent basis.

Yes. I am hoping that this team serves as a bit of a program reset for Saban's last few seasons. Less sizzle, but maybe more substance. Not that there was anything necessarily wrong with having a handful of superstar, top 5 draft pick, Heisman winning type guys, but I think it did eventually lead to the rest of the team easing up a bit expecting those guys to make plays.

Had plans to go up until the day they announced that kickoff time

3:30pm EST in Tampa on a mid-Sept Saturday?
I'll save my money for the post-season.

I lived in Tampa from 2007 to 2009.

No way in hell would I go to a football game at 3 o'clock in the afternoon in mid-September.

Practice footage from this afternoon

Kool-Aid is the first player shown so he's fine.

ETA: Jihaad Campbell practiced too.

Crazy how little info we’ve had on Malachi and Key, normally we’d know a full diagnosis and timetable but there’s been very little info on those two

Yeah, but Dalcourt was next to Latham on the right. Booker was MIA.

The Alabama coaching staff selected nine players of the week following a 56-7 win over Middle Tennessee to open the 2023 season last Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. Texas isn't in the SEC just yet, which means the SEC's regulation for tickets for visitors doesn't apply for the Alabama football matchup vs. the Longhorns this week at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

So, the Crimson Tide doesn't have to meet the SEC requirement of at least 2,000 visiting tickets located in the lower level of the stadium. And Alabama won't. All 5,000 visitor tickets, which include seats for the band, will be in the upper deck.

"We are able to reciprocate a similar seating arrangement to what we had last year in Austin," Alabama athletics director Greg Byrne told The Tuscaloosa News.

Guessing they'll play if they're practicing some by midweek.
