Did Prentice look slim to anyone else?
I remember him as a thicker, Josh Jacobs shaped WR last year and now he looks leaner.

He was being disciplined for a half for some unrevealed reason. Possibly for the jawing with the coaches during game prep.

He has a right to feel that way imho. Saban is blowing it with Simpson by having Buchner as 2nd string. We will need Simpson next year.
Lots of ifs in this statement...
Assuming Milroe is gone after this year?
It's clear to anyone who has watched Simpson is not on the same level as the other guys. Yeah maybe he gets better in the future, but I would say Longeran probably has pulled at least even with him.
Just don't get the obsession with Ty, is it because he was highly rated? I mean sometimes guys don't pan out

Prentice has always looked slim. I don't recall him looking like Josh Jacobs at all. Maybe you're thinking of Shaz Preston?

When you wear number 6 you slowly become the slim reaper ;)

Milroe is not going to be a Heisman finalist with what I saw last night and will have many games he will struggle with but with that said we can still win the NC if we can develop the run game, protect him in the pocket, and our D does not give up the big plays. We won a NC with both GMac and Coker at th
We have to remember that these guys typically improve. Especially over the first 3-5 games of the season and Especially in their first 3-5 games as a starter. Milroe isn’t a finished product. And while he may or may not end up having real Heisman hype, it’s reasonable to expect that he’ll be a better QB down the stretch than he is today. And as you’ve pointed out, what we saw in week 1 was good enough, if he can sustain it and given the right context around him.

Anyone else kind of enjoying not having a superstar on the team giving us immensely high expectations?
It's actually refreshing having a group of dudes no one in the media is highlighting on a consistent basis.
ETA: I'm not saying we don't have someone capable of being a superstar level talent, just that we didn't go into the season with the media fawning over a guy like Tua, Bryce, Will Anderson, etc.
