Riley usually provided some good burst. Coaches trusted his blocking enough to make him a 3rd down back.

Im happy to have him back. He brings something a little different than Jam and Hill.

Nope. It’s either “we suck and going to go 7-6” after a loss or “we’re going to crush everyone” after a good win. No reasonable takes allowed

I never said they were mutually exclusive. In fact, I haven’t disagreed that they’re a really good team that we can also beat.

The fact that they’ve played and benefitted from a laughably weak schedule and my opinion that they wouldn’t win 9 games in the SEC doesn’t exclude that they’re a really good team that we can beat.

Both things can be true at the same time.

would struggle to beat Mizzou and South Carolina

Yeah, see, that’s not something I said. I said they couldn’t handle the grind of playing an SEC slate that includes teams like Mizzou and SC. That doesn’t mean they’d necessarily lose to those teams.

You can disagree with my opinion without making up shite.

You said they'd lose 4 games in the SEC. That they would go 4-4. Unless they drew the death slate of games that means they'd almost have to lose 1-2 games to Tennessee/Missouri/Vanderbilt/Texas A&M. Missouri went 4-4 in the SEC, FYI. Tennessee went 4-4. LSU went 3-5. That is what you are equating them with.

Vanderbilt just went 6-2 in the SEC. Are we really under the impression that Indiana does not possess a similar level of depth that Vanderbilt does?

I generally agree with what you are saying - but more like they'd drop 1-2 games (depending on what schedule they drew, which is a huge deal in all conferences these days), not they'd drop 4. That's all I'm saying.

I just think Indiana is gay. Confute that, Mr. Google fingers.

ETA: Who called you Mr Google fingers, again?

I've heard Cignetti has said, "your gay."

I may have been a little hyperbolic. Maybe. But, I don’t think 9-3 would be off the mark.

We have several good teams with loads more talent and depth that dropped 4 games.

I’m not denying that they’re a good team, though. I just don’t think they’d have taken the beating we’ve taken (or other SEC teams) and not have dropped at least 3 games in the regular season.

The SEC isn't as dominant as some might think but they are on the balance a deeper conference than the Big Ten. So I get the thought. Indiana is probably 10-2 at worst with our schedule. Frankly, @UGA might be their only loss.

It’s not a fanny pack? Then what does he call it? I call mine a man purse because it annoys my wife.

But what do you store in it?

Grizzly Longcut Wintergreen OR Burt's Bees?

Texas dropped three games this season and their roster is stacked. Granted, one of the losses was week one to OSU in Columbus. Auburn likely would have had a better record had Freeze not screwed up the quarterback situation.

I travel a lot and keep my wallet, keys, and phone in it. I’m not trying to get pickpocketed.

I think they’re headed out today. A bunch of the beat reporters arrived last night.

I would say they would go undefeated with A&M's schedule but drop one or two with Bama or UGA's schedule.
They really played one tough team, on the road, in Oregon during the regular season. Iowa and Penn State are quality wins but no different than Bama going to Missouri or South Carolina,
The rest of that schedule was against garbage teams. Bama has one common opponent in Wisconsin which Bama destroyed and so did they....in the second half. It was over at HT with Bama.

The media has shifted back today to we are going to get blown out. They were on the fence for a few days now it’s full blown Indiana giving us the business. I love being the underdog.

A coworker of mine has convinced himself that this is a revenge game for Cignetti, and that we didn't allow him to advance years ago so he "had to go to a D2 school to prove himself." This is more of an indictment on the coworker than the media, I guess. He watches too many hallmark movies.
