At least we are winning the mid-week games.

Beautiful night at The Joe and a relatively decent crowd for a midweek game. Happy to see the midweek W’s continue. Now we need (a) the rain to hold off enough to get all three games in this weekend and (b) win all three games this weekend.
Alabama Baseball Continues Perfect Midweek Streak Against Troy (SI)
The Crimson Tide is now 9-0 against midweek opponents after a comfortable victory over the Trojans on Tuesday night.

Midweek success has been good to see. Now we need a couple get-right weekends against a couple of SEC teams that realistically we should be better than. Anything can happen but going 4-2 over the next two weeks is very attainable and to me is almost a minimum would put us at something like 28-10 (7-8) at the halfway point of the league.

Someone on TI said Hess will miss several starts due to a forearm injury. Our luck is brutal.

Don't know what the weather forecast looks like in Tuscaloosa, but we have gotten hammered here in the San Antonio area over the last 12 hours and it is headed East. Might affect our series this weekend if it doesn't fizzle out.

Schedule change! First pitch at 5 pm tonight (instead of 6 pm)

The Alabama-Mississippi State baseball game scheduled for Thursday, April 6, has been moved up to a 5 p.m. CT first pitch at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The change was made due to the threat of inclement weather in the forecast.
The teams were originally slated for a 6 p.m. start at The Joe in the series opener. Fans who are unable to attend can watch Thursday's matchup live on SEC Network+.
Currently, Friday's game remains scheduled for a 6 p.m. start with the series finale on Saturday set for 5 p.m. Game two of the series will air on SEC Network+ with the finale being broadcast nationally on ESPNU.

I’ve heard speculation (nothing concrete) of one game today and two on Saturday for both baseball and softball. Certainly watch for updates if anyone is planning to attend any of the events this weekend. Hope we can get all the games in no matter when they are played.

Is Hess injured? I understand GMac back in the line-up, but thought he would definitely replace someone else unless Hess is injured.
