My take
Antoine Jean looked great to me and didn’t start to struggle until the errors commenced.
Wilson’s error was bad luck
Dio’s error was atrocious and a play he (hopefully) makes 999/1000
Thought McNairy was good. Missed a couple sequences changing a poop diaper after the error from short.
Great to see Chase throwing a lot of strikes again.
Denton stays hot.
I don’t think Wright State is a slouch by any means. The two pitchers they threw out there today had SEC stuff.
Great to have to battle through some games and not just cake walk our way to SEC play without being challenged.
The notion that we’re supposed to go into conference play 16-0 or else we’re a bad team is just stupid. Look around the rest of the conference and country. Good teams are dropping games they should be winning too.
Hopefully we can put together 7 good innings here and get a sweep against another decent team.
