Scrimmage at Mississippi State Highlights Alabama Baseball’s Weekly Schedule
The Tide will square off with the Bulldogs on Friday in Starkville starting at 5 p.m.
FALL PRACTICE – WEEK FIVE (all times listed in Central)
Tuesday: Practice – 2:15 p.m.
Thursday: Practice – 2:15-3:30 p.m. | Scrimmage – 3:30 p.m. start
Friday: Exhibition at Mississippi State – 5 p.m. start (Dudy Noble Field)
Sunday: Practice – 2-3:15 p.m. | Scrimmage – 3:15 p.m. start

They basically played one 14 inning game, and the final was still 2-1

From everything coming out of fall practice and the scrimmage, it looks like our pitching could be a strength of the team this year and it looks like Jean, Dylan Ray (RS Fr), Ben Hess (Fr), Luke Holman (Fr), and Hunter Furtado (So Transfer from Wake Forest) will battle it out for the starting spots.

Alabama Baseball's scrimmage against Ole Miss in Oxford on Saturday, October 30th, has been set for a 1:00 pm first pitch. Gates will open at 11:00 am. Scrimmage is scheduled for 12 innings. Limited concessions will be available, but fans will be able to bring in food & drinks.

Thoughts on the scrimmage, fall as a whole:
"I thought today was another positive day for this group. I would assume that both Mississippi State and Ole Miss will be ranked in the Top 10 whenever the preseason polls come out. Tight games against teams of their caliber should give our kids some confidence, as well as reinforce just how much the little things matter.
"Overall, I feel like we made a lot of progress throughout our fall team segment. We will hit the weights hard the next couple of months before we get back on the field in January as we prepare for the season opener against Xavier in February."
