Carlsbad beat Mater Dei 48-14. At least do research before saying something like this.

That Mater Dei is in Chula Vista, homeboy. Mater Dei where BY played, and the one to which I am referring, is in Santa Ana.

Santa Ana MD lost to St John Bosco in Bellflower, CA in the regular season but avenged that loss in the playoffs enroute to the title.

Their qb that was 42-2 as a starter turned BAMA down to play at Stanford.

I may get flamed for saying this, but I think we will have a hard time keeping him off the field

I want to make it very clear that I love what Milroe has done, and what he's meant to this team.

That being said, if we're going to start paying these kids exorbitant sums of money and treating them like employees, I think it's fair that they lose their spot when someone more talented comes along.

I would feel bad for Milroe or Ty or anyone else if that were to happen, but that pendulum needs to swing both ways.

Milroe will get a chance to be the starter. I believe this. But if the new guy is better, I hope he's the Game 1 starter.

I’m not in the know by any means, but I’m gonna look at what’s already going on and pretty much tell you that Mack is our QB.

There’s a reason he brought Mack and not anyone else from the QB room. Mack was likely their starter for the upcoming season.

He wasted no time either bringing him. I’m sure he watched film of our QBs and knew we needed help.

What game was it that Simpson got to play significant time?(not USF).

If that’s any indication of his progress and what he can become, I’ve got high hopes for him this season.

If this is true then he's smarter than Saban. At least regarding qb play.

Kentucky. He looked good and has talent. Definitely seemed more productive than he did against USF.

the Chula Vista mater dei is division 5, Carlsbad is division 1. The real mater dei won the state championship in 2023, Carlsbad got bumped in the semis of the section playoff. Sayin never won the San Diego section championship in 3 years.

Mack won the San Joaquin Section championship the one year he started for Folsom

I agree that Simpson is talented. So is Milroe for that matter.

But if I have to choose between loyalty to a player that has 6 months to learn and practice a system, and a guy that's been in it a year already... well this isn't even a choice. Especially if the guy that's been in the system is talented and capable.

The starting qb at MD won two titles as a starter. Jussayin. His name is Elijah Brown.

No worries. I should've been more specific.
