FSU, A&M, LSU, and MSU all played rather well versus our OL

Why are we acting like the OL was awful tonight? They weren't.

For most of the game I thought pass pro was pretty iffy. Lots of MSU guys came untouched.

Run blocking was very good to great.

We got lost on some blitzes and we just aren't a great pass blocking group.

They were dominant in the run game.

Hurts was sacked 5 times and they didn’t get much push in the run game in the 1st half.

Win is a win is a win. I'm just stoked to get a W. you don't always play well. Clemson lost to Pitt last year. Fellas we are 10 and 0!

Offense was fine. Defense struggled stopping them right up the middle.

This is 100% about being very thin at LB.

While we didn't play great run D tonight, I have to believe we'll do a better job. I still have no idea why Georgia was playing 2 safeties 25 yards off the ball AND the corners off the line when they're getting outflanked.

AU will likely have just as much if not much more success on this defense (barring Gus going full retard) than MSU. But the defense has to force TOs and play well in the red zone to make up for it.

At least we’re not 7SU! We don’t get excited about playing a team close. We definitely have some work to do, but we have the right man for the job. It was ugly, but it was still a win!

10-0.

Auburn will stop our run game just like they stopped Georgias. Auburn won in large part because they got ahead early by winning 50/50 balls, something we’ve struggled at for years defensively. It just doesn’t look good right now. I’d rather Jalen than Fromm, but still don’t think that’ll be enough. We’re better than they are, but the “styles make fights” philosophy does not favor us in this one. Their O vs our D> Our O vs their D right now

You are vastly underestimating this MSST team. Their losses are to Auburn, Georgia and Alabama. They are a very good team at home but less so on the road. Fitzgerald is the best WB Bama has played to date. I agree our DL is crap but that was not a lesser team. They have one of the best OL in the sec.

Auburn never blows Bama out. They haven't beaten the Tide by more than 10 points since the 50s.

But I'm highly concerned about this game

Yeah, and teams usually don't run the ball on Alabama either. The past is irrelevant at this point with teams moving the ball with success on 1st and 2nd down. Auburn will pound the rock heavily with Johnson, and they'd be smart to do so.

There is a reason why we pay Saban $7 million a year. It’s for situations like these. Could we lose, sure. But I think we’ll be prepared to make it a 4th quarter battle.

Also even with our injuries auburn isn’t scoring 40 us. Win or lose.
