I was googling his buy out. We are stuck with him. Why would they give that guy an even bigger buy out. We are going to be mediocre for years. Thats fine if you cant find anyone better before the season starts. But you dont handcuff yourself to him for eternity!!

Truly infuriating watching these team lose 28-7 in the SECCG and 38-3 in the Rose Bowl and this administration really thought he needed an extension. I think it’s on Grubb for the offense being so shite but if Deboer is not willing to move on then it’s ultimately on him. It’s year 3. This shite is unacceptable.

Can I hate him… and realize there’s not a better available coach we can afford or pull away from their current team?

Is that ok?

Im sure he calls the plays but there is still a game strategy created by the head coach. The head coach is allowing the plays to be called that put this QB in wide open situations instead of bringing him along.

Seems like a good guy but he’s just has a look on his face that he’s absolutely miserable. Idk how this will play out over the next couple years.

Grubb will move on after this year to save him and he’ll get fired after next year.

No. I'm not jumping up and down screaming "fire him now," but that's mainly the result of A) thinking that you should have someone in the wings before doing that and I'm not sure we have that person atm, and B) who the hell knows what to do in the current state of CFB, except spend a shite ton of money? I don't hate the guy, but I don't believe that he's going to win a championship at Alabama.

All that said, the details mistakes are inexcusable. He and his staff make the kind of money that should guarantee that we don't have illegal touch and procedural penalties.

I also agree with the other poster above - no idea why you would bump the buyout after last year.

There you go - f'd up the 2pt attempt because the center's got his thumb up his arse. WTF?

I wasn't high on him from the get go. That Washington team he led to the championship barely escaped against lower quality teams. His wins vs Oregon was impressive but littered with poor clock management and play calling. The Texas win was literally just Penix going off and making incredible throws that I doubt could be replicated again.

His teams at Washington are exactly what they are here - undisciplined, playing with no sense of urgency, questionable in-game coaching decisions, and poor preparation.

And I was so excited when he joined since he and KDB have won everywhere they’ve been together.

Maybe it will click that you have to run the ball in this league to win. This isn’t the pack 12
