I really don't see how you can say this considering how good our WR's currently are.

I mean we can't take all the talent as nice as it would be.

Yeah guys. No one is saying Bama isn't loaded at WR.

But Alabama is lacking the prototypical "Big" WR, and several have been in Bamas backyard lately.

Well known Bama is looking for a "Big WR" in this class because of the misses.

Would have been nice getting Seth Williams, just to have kept him from going to Auburn.

And yes we have Shavers, but Shavers clearly is not as good as any of those Alabama guys that got away. Yet.

We have the best WR corps in the country right now by a wide margin.

The roster is only so big, other programs are going to sign good players occasionally too.

The last 2 years we were so one dimensional, I really can't blame them for not wanting to come to Alabama. Justyn Ross made no bones about it. Our 3 talented sophomores had been recruited hard before 2016 and they knew we'd have a legitimate passing game most years, given the personnel to do it.

Pretty sure that Waddle committed to Alabama after Tua showed out in the national title game.

How hard did we pursue Williams and (to this point) Pickens?

Williams played at Hill Crest I believe. He wanted to play for Bama, but Bama was all in on Ross, and eventually I think Williams took it personally, and went to the barn.

Pickens was another late offer, but most agree it was because of his grades.

Ross, watched the Hurts offense for two years, and was friends with Trevor Lawrence so he followed him to Clem.

Height is overrated for WRs.

Outside of Julio, who is a generational talent, tall WRs haven't done much at Bama.

Earl Alexander, Mike Bowman, Kendall Kelly, Raheem Falkins, Cams Sims, Derek Kief, and Tyrell Shavers. Which one of those guys contributed statistically to Bama in a significant way?

And that's without padding it further with the likes of Duron Carter(eligibility) and Eddie Williams(started at WR, moved to DB).

I totally agree.

6'1 WRs have been very good to Bama. The best.

That's kinda what I was getting at. There seems to be a trend.

Bama clearly took 6' Xavier over the much bigger Williams last class

Clemson has like 6 or 7 guys on staff with deep Alabama ties. About the only program that can come into the state and have real recruiting success.
