It’s been moving from -360 to -310 and back and forth. I think it’s pretty much solid at this point baring some miracle news from the committee.

If that’s the case then it’s basically A&M > Ohio State at the Orange Bowl path

Let’s be realistic. The result of losing to a lower tier program or Oklahoma again in the playoffs would be much worse for the future.

Worse than going to a meaningless bullshite bowl like the Pinstripe bowl in cold, snowy New York in December?

“I really want to play against Michigan in the nobody cares bowl over the playoff”

Said no one ever

If you want to harp about the standard and being so good, then stop pussyfooting around playing in the playoff in order to risk a loss to some mediocre team

We are going to drop to #10 and play at A&M.

There's no reason to think we will win that game.

I could completely see A&M blowing this game

A&M Struggled against the best competition they faced. Their fans have battered Aggie syndrome. Couple the threat of their best season in forever ending with a rivalry loss and a first-round bounce as a home favorite would likely have them tight. I think Reed could throw picks like the first half of the South Carolina game, and maybe Ty could use it as a get right game.

Will it happen when they have an extra week of rest on us? Probably not, but I see a way that we could go in there and get a W.

Unfortunately, the first round is going to look like the Michigan game last season. Ty is cooked.

A lot of comments on this issue. My betting site in Florida does not have the odds on Bama getting in playoffs, but does have Bama and Ole Miss tied at 8 and 9 to win it all, which points to being in. I agree with Ingram. Plus everything else has set up perfect to put both Notre Dame and Miami in. If I could get 340 for 100 I would do it in a heart beat. Wondering further into what is wrong with this team I think conditioning is playing a bigger part than offense and defense schemes. Physical condition affects you mentally as well.

We're literally a QB away from winning everything.

That's how close we are.

We’re a QB away without a run game?

You’re not beating the allegations

What have you seen recently that leads you to believe Ty can turn things around?

What have you seen that makes you think this is going to look like Michigan?

Also it would help if people actually looked at A&M’e schedule

I’m less concerned with it looking like Michigan and more concerned that it’s going to look like the past ~6 weeks where our QB is missing a substantial number of reads and throws.

We’re not going to magically develop a running game before our next game, so we need our QB to get back on track. And to that end, there’s nothing I’ve seen recently to suggest that that will happen.

I think having time off will give the team time to scheme something up.

A&M isnt very good. They are the SECs Miami.

They didnt play Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, or Vandy.

Think about that.

2 years in we definitely have a pattern to our losses

Inexplicable loss to a bad team on the road (Vandy/FSU)

Close loss to a team you should beat because the offense shits the bed (UT/Okla)

Complete arse whipping to a team where the offense looks like they’ve never practiced(Okla/GA)

We don’t know what the pattern looks like beyond that and most years we won’t get to find out.

I agree that I don’t think A&M is very good but all the scheming in the world won’t help if your QB makes the wrong reads and makes poor throws.

I don’t think our scheme last night was great by any standard, but there were still guys open last night and our QB didn’t hit them. So while it’ll be great to get more time to game plan, it won’t make a lick of difference unless we can get our QB back on track.
