Milroe has a high enough ceiling that coming back and developing makes more sense.

And you might be underestimating the nil money that milroe will pull in. Will be easily north of 200k. Which would help solve any immediate money issues to see the bigger picture.

The Alabama nil collective going to be all the players pretty well at a minimum.

200k is chump change. A fifth round contract is over 1M a year with more than 200K in a signing bonus.

I also don’t get the “Ty will transfer because of Sayin” angle. Sayin isn’t surpassing Ty in year one, and Ty isn’t sticking around until his last year to play. The issue is does Ty try the spring route, which was a dogfight for Tua because Saban favors returning starters, or does he just enter the portal in the postseason

There’s a good chance that if we beat Georgia, Ty isn’t on our roster come January

I didn’t read all of your points to be honest nor do I really care that much

Hahahahahahaha.
I am not reading another word of that post after this gem. AR15 can’t read a defense still. The Colts owner is a moron that fell in love with his combine 40. That’s the only reason he went in the first round. He would’ve plummeted like Malik Willis if Irsay wasn’t a moron.

No, it’s not NFL money but it might be enough to cause him to stick around and get first round money.

I was actually hoping this would be true but if he keeps playing like this he’s going to be shooting up draft boards. UGA and two playoff games will propel him up just like it did for Mac in 2020

I will say this. I personally don’t think Milroe is ready to be an NFL starter, and I selfishly hope you’re right. Because I’m really enjoying watching him in Crimson. It’s been a fun season

Glad to know you disagree with every NFL front office

Who gives a frick about all that shite. Point is… they was ppl on here that trashed Milroe from the start, never gave the man a chance.

99% of the posters on here was dead wrong about Milroe. Now that he’s playing well they still make they’re little shitty remarks about him. Fair weather bandwagon fans.

We might not make the playoffs, but this team isn’t losing another game

Anthony Richardson could make progressions and reads on tape. He had better pocket movement and knowledge of when to run. His issue is accuracy. He was also three inches taller and much more athletic (lateral quickness). He graded physically as one of the most athletic prospects ever

Entirely different problem than Milroe’s struggles with reading coverage and pre-snap adjustments, lol. Great arm, good straight line speed, but doesn’t have wiggle or touch. Our intermediate game is almost nonexistent over the middle

Logan Thomas had all the physicals and went fifth, Milroe isn’t going first simply because he has a strong arm.

Let’s calm down with this kool-aid chugging, he’s not going pro this year and he’s certainly not “going to be the first overall pick” like you hyped in the other thread you just bumped

Milroe's ceiling is immense, but he is still on the first floor of his development. Especially regarding the details of quarterbacking.

Now, one more year, and he may be a first round pick. But he certainly isn't there yet.

I guess I'd forgotten Milroe actually could declare for the draft. Right this minute, I'd say no...but if he somehow looked great in a SECCG win and then made a playoff run...who knows. There's something to be said for striking while the iron is hot... and if all that happened he'd be riding a massive wave of momentum.

Nick Marshall, Denard Robinson, Logan Thomas, Terrelle Pryor, and Braxton Miller all say otherwise

If you can’t make it as a quarterback and develop, you won’t stay on a roster. Unless you’re athletic enough to be moved elsewhere. It’s not a new thing in the NFL

I’ll be like the 20th person to say I highly doubt Simpson will be on the team next year.

2024 is Milroe’s money year. He’ll be back.

So, it would be stupid to even play him anymore this year?

Why waste time on a player that's out the door.
