Mac probably won't be with the Pats next year

Mac may just not have what it takes to be a longtime starter in the NFL.

Mac being careless with the ball. Might get an invitation to hold the clipboard... ugly.

Max probably won’t be starting by the end of this year. Showed a little promise as a rookie and hasn’t progressed at all since then.
And some might say he’s getting some karma today.

Almost another pick. Cowboy defender dropped it.

Yeah, he hasn't developed very well. A part of that is his second year he had a DC is his OC, and this season he's got Bill O'Brien. Another part is the fact that the pats have had absolutely no impact skill players since he's been there. Shitty situation, but thems the breaks.

Mac is terrible today. He deserves to get benched.

Another pic. The Mac era in New England may be imploding

I quit watching before the half...too ugly.
I've defended Mac constantly by saying they haven't surrounded him with good talent like other teams have done with their young QBs...which is true, but at some point he has to help himself. He had a good rookie season and I think he got a little too full of himself... trademarking "MJ10" and all that stuff. Then New England screwed him over last season and it looks like he hasn't recovered. I think he's a good QB...but I also think it's just toxic in New England... and will get much worse after this. Rex Ryan is probably happy because he hates Mac.

Christian Harris and HTT are so much better in the NFL. Amazing what good coaching and utilization can do

I've really been pulling for Mac...but damn, he is struggling...may not have a ton around him, but he may not be good enough...hard to see him as the starter all year or being back with the Pats.

Mac needs guys around him. He needed it at Bama, Smitty and Waddle, and he needs it in the league. If he was the Saints QB he'd be thriving. Give him Olave, Thomas, and Kamara and he'd be a top 10 QB. Hopefully someone sees his potential and trades for him.

Agreed. Most QBs need actual talent around them to succeed. Someone could trade for Mac and probably get him for reasonable draft capital by buying low right now. Someone like the Saints or Falcons could bring him in to compete. I do think he needs a clean break from New England.

Regarding Mack , Bellichick said he will be the starter going forward. He said he was pulled because there was no point in keeping on playing him. Not pulled for performance, he said.
