Prattville takes a 48-0 lead over Millbrook, er Stanhope Elmore, in the inaugural game in Stanhope's new stadium.

It's gonna be lit at the Millbrook Baumhower's tonight.

Bobby has Prattville loaded this year. I believe they have something like 32 transfers so they’ve got talent all over the field

Poor ref skills is difficult to watch at the high school level. And there are no reviews to fix it.

Prattville looked outstanding but needs to play some better competition.

Starting to look like the old PHS big, strong, and fast.

The Lions are a legit threat this year. They gonna be a problem.

Oxford is 3-0 right now but they have struggled a little bit over the last couple of weeks. I don't think they are anywhere close to Clay-Chalkville's level right now.

AT 6a everyone is playing for second place. Thompson looks like a grown man playing with boys. I do like that Prattville is looking good. In my younger adult days Prattville always field great teams along with Jess Lanier and Enterprise. Jess Lanier is no longer around but Enterprise is. I am not sure Bessemer HS plays in 6a.

It is the soyboy parents who want their kids playing non contact sports which has nothing to do with weed.

Wilson (Florence)

Started vs Haleyville at Haleyville and got a nice win. Pretty banged up and lost a pretty physical game vs Central last week. They should smoke Elkmont tonight.

They have a tough squad. Just very young and talent isn't very deep. That said, very good group of young men that play hard for each other. Close knit team and good coaches.

Whoa. Didn’t expect anyone to respond to my Wilson comment.

I hated losing to Central. We were always close enough to hear about it from them. Was real nice to beat them my senior year.

I usually watch the bleacher talk guys on Facebook if the game that I officiate finishes in time. If not that, I hear about how everything went from my mom when I call her on Monday.

Mom said the boys were playing hard this year. Maybe they’ll wax Elkmont tonight.

I may be a few years older than you, but went to Wilson in HS. Moved back last year after I retired. My youngest is still in HS and playing there now, as well.

They really do have a unique thing going on under Coach Lane. Team cohesion is extremely high. Very selfless across the board. The move to 3A was good for them. They can be much more competitive there

Oddly, you are the 3rd Wilson guy among several from Florence/Shoals area that I have encountered on here over the years. Small world.
