Took back to back 10s on the floor to beat us, that’s just bad luck.

No it isn't. The judges knew the exact scores that was needed for UF to win.

Without any large flaws they were going to give it to them.

Last gymnast for UF took a large step back on final pass. Not a huge deduction, but it's a deduction.
Certainly not a 10.

10s should be rare. They handed them out like candy in Gainesville. Shameful.

Understand...the judges DO get intimidated by the crowd. I've personally seen it on several occasions.

But Alabama is the real winner. Big road scores count more than big home scores. So Alabama was more impressive in Gainesville.
Unlikely that Florida gets this highly overscored on the road.

This was in Tuscaloosa? UF doesn't get any 10s.

I’m with you on this one. The landing on the “10” vault included a major bow during the landing. Certainly not perfection.

Right.

If I'm Dana, I pay attention to who these judges are and make note.

13 most underrated freshmen to watch in 2022 women's college gymnastics

Lilly Hudson
School: Alabama

The 2021 Region 8 regional champion and Nastia Liukin Cup bronze medalist could contribute to the Crimson Tide’s lineups especially on bars, beam and floor, where her skills are difficult and solid and her execution is clean.
