Auburn fan's post beneath the Evans' interview:

Alabama's got major NCAA troubles (which means imminent coaching change), Georgia's stuck in neutral, and at Auburn, everything is moving in the right direction and it's showing on the field. Jump on the Gus Bus, Mr. Evans....you won't regret becoming an Auburn man!

Never met an Auburn man. Met auburn girls, auburn boys, auburn women, and crying auburn bitches though.

Two questions we get often regarding Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star athlete Bo Scarbrough and Notre Dame.
Are the Irish a legitimate player? We think so. He took an official visit for the USC game and had a nice experience. Scarbrough and Irish assistant Tony Alford have been in touch for months. Since the visit for the USC game, there has been close to daily communication, sometimes more than once a day. Sources close to Scarbrough have indicated that ND is very much in the picture. With that being said, we’re definitely not ready to predict Scarbrough will end up anywhere but Alabama, but he continues to feel out all of his options with the Irish being one of them.
Can Scarbrough get into Notre Dame? From everything we’ve heard, ND has a plan in place for Scarbrough to gain admittance into school, and they’re confident that if Scarbrough wants to be Irish, he’ll be able to not only come to South Bend, but be successful off the field as well.
Also, since Scarbrough and Holmes spent time together in South Bend and their flights home, the two have been in regular contact. Holmes feels that he’s made plenty of headway with the five-star recruit.
If Bo can get into Notre Dame, then he should have zero problems getting in at Alabama.

-Five-star defensive tackle Matt Elam has Notre Dame in his top three with Alabama and Kentucky. For the Irish to land him, they’ll need to get the Elizabethtown (Ky.) John Hardin standout back on campus, which is definitely a possibility. He plans to announce his college decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. A source tells us that Elam is a smart kid and that he’d be successful in the classroom at ND despite getting off to a slow start academically in high school. Elam enjoyed his official visit to Notre Dame for the USC game, he likes the folks on campus, and the opportunity to step in and give snaps right away as a true freshman replacing Louis Nix is enticing.
I hope he's smart enough to see through that bullshite recruiting pitch.

From ESPN:

Down the stretch we come. Signing day for the Class of 2014 is fewer than 100 days away, and the marathon is turning into a sprint. Teams are jockeying to get into position for the critical December and January official visit period, and by the end of November, coaches will be flocking to the homes of prospects all over the country for visits. You never know what might happen, but here are 10 bold predictions for what we'll see on national signing day.
Leonard Fournette signs with Alabama?
The Crimson Tide are assembling the best offensive line class in ages, and that foundation is the key thing that helps win over Fournette, the nation's No. 1 player, in the end. This certainly is an against-the-grain projection because LSU has been the team to beat with Fournette for quite some time, but he also understands that his decision is a business one and he has to do what's best for him in the long term. Having seven of the most highly rated offensive linemen in front of him, including No. 1 tackle Cameron Robinson, No. 1 guard Ross Pierschbacher and No. 1 center Josh Casher will eventually help win the battle for Alabama. Also, never underestimate the recruiting power of Nick Saban.

I still expect LF to LSU, but LSU fans trying to convince themselves there is no way he comes here is hilarious to read.

Seems like a lot of asshurt on the Georgia boards about Alvin Kamara. Lots of rumors surrounding him wanting to leave Bama.

A couple thing were said since last night so allow me to retort
- Barney needs a lot of work technique wise to be a 3 tech and his skill set is a lot different, strangely more like a larger Rush OLB or Jack type skillset. Nick Gentry is a good example he is a little more athletic but not nearly as physical at the point of attack. He fits more of a tweener between the 3 and the 4/5 and occasionally the 2 in Dime. Dee is more physical and powerful to me than Barney both are still raw but Barney has a little more speed and agility
- It seems like they are slowing bringing along Lance, he helps on a lot of recruits. I will take up for Brown because I believe he is doing a great job for the time he has been at Bama so far. It may have been a no name hire but he has exceeded my expectations so far.
- Pruitt wanted exactly what he got from FSU, a DC job and it was pretty early in his career considering his career path but they wanted a staffer from Bama's staff
- Marlon is still a troll

Marshon Lattimore, Eryk Smith, and Marcelys Jones will take officials

I didn't realize Marlon was going to Auburn... or Roberts is flipping to FSU

He could be starting at UGA with their injury situation. But how could that have ever been forecasted in February? It seems to me that their rumor mongering stems from their miss being even more massive now.

Unlike some other in-state misses in previous years, where playing time wasn't guaranteed right away, Marlon could potentially start from day one. At the very least play a significant role. If a legacy with nearly guaranteed playing time, for a winning program, decides to go elsewhere then he's just one of those kids that always was. Not much we can do there.

It's pretty crazy that this season is 2/3 of the way through and we still don't have a consistent starting cornerback opposite Belue. If he doesn't see time to contribute there, then I don't know what to say. Some kids like to blaze their own trails instead of being the next great Humphrey for Bama.
Side note: if we get Humphrey, do you think Landon Collins would be willing to give up his number? Or will Humphrey settle for a different number for a year?

He'll use a different number unless LC just doesn't care.

I wonder if Landon wants #2 back (His HS number). He's almost established a new identity as #26, so I would imagine it would be a difficult decision...

I wouldn't expect that to happen. LC will wear it for one year and be gone. Marlon will have to wear a different number his entire career or switch to his Pop's number as a soph.
