Hello Bama Recruiting thread Glad to be here

Just got access a couple days ago to talk recruiting with Bama folk. I missed the days of the old SECrb. I'll try to help out with the UGA info since it's often pertinent to Bama as well. I promise I won't troll.

Welcome Crow.

Do you think Tunsil picks us or you guys?

It's down to us two (so long as nothing fishy happens).

Demetric Warren the Dir. of Scouting & Recruiting for Varsitypreps just crystal balled Mama to the good guys. Would be a little surprised if we ended up with him but he is my favorite interior lineman.

Warren also has Tony Brown,Zo Carter,CJ Hampton and Juju Smith crystal balled to Bama.

Justin Hopkins thinks Mama will pick us to. From what I have heard he's arguably the best recruiting analyst covering the West Coast/Pac12

Great news! Doesn't look like we have space for Mama now..... unless McBride flips.

Good news on Pierschbacher. I think I read here that McBride might start out on defense.

Was kinda thinking he may start out at nose, especially considering the Paige situation.

Good lineman name. Hopefully he's a tackle.

He's undersized for your typical Tackle but apparently his arms are really long.

Bone says Piersbacher is a guard for us. I'm guessing Jordan Sims and Casher are out of luck.

Yeah, 6 foot 4 is really pushing it, if he's even that, but he can still grow another inch. Andre plays tackle at that height right?

We need Robinson or the Fruhmorgen guy to work out.

Fruhmorgen, Piersbacher, Hasselhoff, Talamaivao, and Mama.

How many recruits have we flipped this year? 3? Who else will we be flipping? I also wonder which school has lost the most recruits to us from flipping. I'm guessing Auburn just based on the fact that we are in the same state and recruit the same areas and the circus that seems to occur every year, but I haven't gone and counted. Have we flipped many from LSU, Florida, Georgia or Tennessee? I'm guessing there is a growing number of programs out there are developing a really unhealthy hatred toward us right now because of the flips. Whatever the number, I'm sure we can now add Iowa to the mix now.

BTW, I really think this kid is going to end up being one of the top linemen in our class this year. Maybe not up there with Cam, but certainly similar in talent to Hasselhoff. The Iowa guys on 247 were saying that he's one of the best high school o-linemen ever to come out of that state. One of their staff also said that he believes he could develop into a franchise-type lineman and gave him just tons and tons of praise. It was clear from his post that the prospect of him going to Alabama made him sick--really, really sick.

Jesus I just hope he is the last lineman besides the kid from Louisiana.

IIRC he measured at 6'3" when on campus. Doesn't rule out tackle but is pushing it (unless as Tidesaint stated he has really long arms).
