Can someone explain this Roc Thomas situation? From what I've read on 247 it seems he did not have a committable offer. Is that true? And, if so, WHY? From what I've seen, he's a fantastic running back and I really don't want to see him ripping shite up in Auburn.

He had one at one time I think, but he didn't jump on it. Kind of like Jordan Sims. We took 4 RBs last cycle so it's not like we need him or Fournette, and Fournette must be giving the staff enough reason to be confident that they let Roc go.

After 2 years of not listening to Burton Burns initially on Yeldon and Henry, looks like they are finally listening to him on Fournette.
To say Burns wants Fournette is an understatement, he hasn't wanted to get anyone he has recruited in his career more than Fournette. Comes from the same area as Burns, same HS, his daughter teaches there, and he's one of the best RB prospects in a while.
Thomas just fell to the wayside, he'd be in the class in any other year...

We'll be fine. I figure two out of last year's class will RS and we already have a high 4-star committed in next year's class in Flowers.
I wish we would push for Joe Nixon though. He's a beast.

LSU fans don't understand that we really don't "need" to have LF. Is he a great talent? Sure. But we have won a few championships without LF, so we don't "need" anyone but the guys we get.

If you are talking about Joe Mixon the RB from CA he released his top 10 today and we were not in it. Makes sense since we never offered.

It just makes you nervous and a little uncomfortable when top in-state talent goes to Awbarn.Don't want to be seen losing ground to THEM!

Their 247 guy Todd Worley had a thread up with the title hearing RP may be flipping to UA. But the title was changed about 1o minutes ago with just Ross P in it. I do not have a sub so have no clue of the conversation in it. But assuming Worley does not think he is now or confirmed he will not now.
