There's a rumor out there today that Bama's June 15th date on QBs relates to Keller Chryst. Something along the lines of he's currently being reviewed for early enrollment to Stanford and Bama is his #2. If he isn't accepted, then he'd apparently choose Bama.

The Jacob Park stuff was a rumor from TiderInsider. We're probably back at square one and Cornwell is the guy. This circular pattern is mind numbing.

According to the rumor Mag posted earlier that's when Chryst of Latter Day Saints will find out of he can enroll early at Stanford. If he can't, then he wants to come to Bama.

Again, Chryst is a 5-star for a reason. Very good arm, not as strong as Corn wells mind you, but still elite. He's on par mechanics wise. His biggest attribute is that he has a "football coach intuition." His father is the QB coach for the 49ers under Harbaugh. The kid is a fantastic QB.

I like him. And God knows California High School football >>> Oklahoma. I think I'd still take Cornwell. But it's close. The a step down to Park. Then 20 steps down to Harris(who isn't still an option, but I hate him)

To be honest with you Nic, after today's news, I'm kinda hoping we land Chryst over Cornwell (and you know my affection for DC).
It's probably unlikely, but possible apparently. Pulling a kid of his caliber, from California, would speak volumes regarding our national recruiting prowess.
Cornwell has only played one year of varsity ball against weak competition. He may be the best QB in the class, but I think Chryst is the best QB in the country in regards to competing for a starting role right away, and God knows we are gonna need it next year.
I'll be ecstatic with either one though. Can't go wrong with either one of them.

I'd be fine with either. I just like Cornwell's size a mobility. He can sling it too. But I must say the CA vs OK thing makes me want to side with you on this issue.

If they weren't so similar, size withstanding (it's not like Chryst is small, Cornwell is just huge), the choice would be easy.
I just hope we land one of them and I'll be happy. It's been 5 years since I've been truly happy with our QB choice and even then we lost out on Luck.

FWIW, Tim Watts is still saying it's down to Cornwell and Park from what BOL is hearing. In that case I say take Cornwell and do the banana dance until fall.
