I laugh at people who claim ANY kid is a Bama "lock."

For a long time my only concern has been T&F. But I'm feeling better with how we've done with our new coach and I'm hopeful we can convince him that it's a program on the rise

Saban needs to get the ball rolling on building a new, state of the art track facility.

I'll send him a blank check, let's just hope he doesn't go over a five digit number.

So, assuming Bo ends up at WR, how do we show LF that he doesn't have to worry about the depth chart?
I guess first and foremost you'd lay out a depth chart in front of him.
This is in no real order.
TJ Yeldon (Will be a Junior when LF arrives)
Derrick Henry (Will be a Sophomore when LF arrives)
Dee Hart (Will be a RS Junior when LF arrives)
Jalston Fowler (Will be a RS Senior or gone when LF arrives)
Tyren Jones (Will be a RS Freshman or Sophomore when LF arrives)
Kenyan Drake (Will be a Junior when LF arrives)
Altee Tenpenny (See Tyren)
Alvin Kamara (See Altee)
Now, just assume Kamara moves to the Slot and it works out well. Assume also that Fowler is almost exclusively a FB, and Henry is his backup (or starter if JF is gone). LF could come in and instantly get touches behind Yeldon. Once Yeldon leaves, and possibly Drake, it would be very likely that LF would start, but probably share carries with Henry.
I guess all I'm really trying to say is, why would our depth chart (if it even is) be a concern for Fournette?

Some of the arguments we've used in the past:
1. You will have the opportunity to compete to play as a freshman. Ingram, Trent, and TJ all got lots of carries as true freshman
2. The RB depth will actually work in your favor as you will get to the NFL with fewer carries than if you go somewhere that will ride you for 3 years
3. You should be insulted by any team that is telling you that you won't play at Bama because obviously they don't think very highly of your talent
4. The competition will make you better. To be the best you have to play with and beat the best.
All that said, the depth chart at LSU is more favorable. That combined with them being the in-state school would make it a huge upset if he winds up anywhere but there.

Because we took 4 good RBs last cycle and LSU took 0. We can try to spin it anyway we like and speculate about players switching positions, but we've got 7 underclassmen RBs which is a ridiculous number.

It shouldn't be. He is better than any RB currently on our roster not named Yeldon, and he probably knows it.
If he is attracted to easy playing time rather than competition, it speaks more to a lack of confidence in his own abilities than anything.

True, but (I'm starting to buy into the LF train more than before) he should know he's likely better than all of them.
Either way he's gonna be a great player, would just like to see him play at the modern day RBU.

UGA offered Jacob Park
Sounds like Knox, Mama, and Prince all looked very good at the Rivals 5 star camp today

To back up what I said about our T&F program being on the rise, we just missed winning the NC in the men's 4x100 relay to Florida by a chin hair

Finished 11th in the nation. Going to be hard to use the track reason for negative recruiting.

Well, there were still 5 SEC programs ahead of us but hopefully this will show that we're moving in the right direction and we will be a legit competitor in a couple years

Agreed, but LSU only beat us by 7 points. Hard for them to use it.
And we finished right there with FSU. Hopefully a certain Tuscaloosa boy takes notice.
