Funny thing is, a lot of Arkansas fans are coming to Altee's defense and tearing into that douche.
I really don't see how anyone can be mad at him for leaving the state. You have to look at it from his perspective. We recruited him for a few years with very few staff changes. Arkansas fired their HC, hired a lame duck crazy man who probably coached at least 3 or 4 games after eating some shrooms, and then hired another coach 5 or 6 weeks before NSD. If you were in his shoes, which situation would you feel more comfortable about?

Na, have a family member who went that route. I can spot them from a mile away.

Charles Power from BOL said he expects at least 1-2 commits after this weekend's camp, one being a QB.

please be cornwell. im no qb expert, but just from film im not really impressed with harris. 80% of his highlight passes are dumping it off to the runningback.

Cornwell or fricking anuerism.

If I had to guess I would say we land Cornwell, Gavin Bryant, and one between Charles Mosley and Matt Elam.

I have a feeling one of Charles Mosley or Jordan Sims is gonna be left out of this class.
I don't see them taking Mosley as a NG, especially with Elam being a great possibility and the #1 target. So that leaves OG, which already has 2 interior guys on board already. Cristobal has asked Talamavaio about Center, but it's never been specified that's where he is wanted. It's always "guard and/or center". I'm not convinced the center search is done. If so, that would be 5 interior guys for 3 spots if they signed what they have now plus Mosley and Sims. Mosley is big enough for Tackle, but so was Alphonse Taylor.

Yea I think Moseley and Sims waited too late. They are just like C. Toney from last year. Im leaning more towards Sims being left out with the guard in Rod Taylor being available. Just sucks because we know who will be the beneficiary of our wide recruiting range.

I would apologize...if I had something to apologize for.

It would surprise me if either had a committable offer as of right now. That may change after this camp, but as of 9:18 EST on May 31, 2013...I don't think either of them do.

I don't know shite, but I tend to believe this (fairly uneducated guess). I think both of them have to earn a committable offer at camp (might not have always been the case with them, but I think it's the case now).

Viane Talamavaio, Tyler Luatua, and Damien Mama have tentatively scheduled the LSU game as their official visit.

wow...I thought the staff was pretty high on Sims.

You obviously don't have the access to the staff that we do.
j/k.
Seemed like a weird duck relationship. Seems like the staff pursued him and he was very receptive but for some reason never committed. Then he goes to a rivals camp and is described as the most disappointing player there. I think this just has some of us thinking - if we have that info, so does the staff. Do they want to see him in person at their own camp prior to giving him the green light (even though he made have had the green light two months ago)?

The mid June OL/DL camp is big for a lot of recruits, Sims included. They get to see you compete up close in their setting.
Sims unraveled a lot of what he had gained by showing up at the RCS Birmingham like he did. He was out of shape and it showed. He has since hired a trainer, a few may know bamapower from message boards, so he's trying to mend those problems.
It may come down to who performs better if both Mosley and Sims make it to the camp. A lot of interior lineman classes finish relatively early, so that makes someone like Damien Mama seem unlikely(he's a huge USC lean anyway).
I could see 4 interior guys(including Bozeman), 1 LT, and a JuCo as the OL class.

I think that is probably what the staff is looking for (at most). It just seems like we don't usually bring in huge OL classes.
