Joe Davidson ?@SacBee_JoeD 10m
I did get this from Vanderdoes family: grades, eligibility or conduct/character "is not and has never been an issue."

If Vanderdoes does indeed want out of ND commitment,Irish would have to release for smooth transition. If so,re-opens commitment.

Vanderdoes really liked UCLA. The Notre Dame appeal is powerful. Something is brewing but not exactly sure. High character kid he is

If he leaves ND then I see UCLA as the landing spot.

Maybe Mario can stop by the Vanderdoes' home on his West Coast swing.

Yeah, I can only assume it'd be homesick issues that he'd want out if his ND pledge for. Geez, ND is having issues with high profile recruits though.

I like EV. I couldn't have cheered for him at ND. Wish he'd ended up at Bama. I hope he does well wherever he ends up

Well according to the mods at BOL, not today mind you, he chose ND to make his mother happy. Eddie and his father preferred UA. Maybe 3 months of mulling it over have him making second thoughts?

Just saw some interesting news regarding Lorenzo Carter in a national 247 article.

Apparently his older sister, Larissa, is a senior at Coppin State in Baltimore and is wanting to attend medical school wherever Lorenzo chooses. Hopefully UAB will suffice.

That's not good. Does UGA or LSU have a med school?

i dont think either has anything as good as UAB, especially if the sister wants to get into medical research.

yep and when it comes to research UAB is one of the best in the country by far and away.

We just gotta hope she makes it in their screening and acceptance process is pretty tough to the med school

That's crazy about Vanderdoes I remember the Dad liked us & Eddie seemed to really like us, then after he signed his LOI seemed like the Mom not visiting with him was a much more MAJOR issue than percieved at the time

I don't know what kind of shot we'd have or if UCLA is the given destination, but I'd love to add him for sure

Seems like UCLA would be where he would end up now. Really wish he would have came here though.

@TaylorHamm247: Breaking: D'Haquille Williams just text messaged me that he's de-committed from LSU

We aren't after him but I think it's still pretty funny

I can't wait for the epic meltdown on LSUrb.

They have been pumping this kid as being the best player this year and now he does that.

They are all convinced he just wants to take his visits and he will end up at LSU.

I would prefer he goes to LSU though. LSU constantly wastes offensive talent. Gus will figure out how to use him.

Not a whole lot big moves of note in the updated Rivals 250.

Elisha Shaw dropped from 39 to 137
Tyler Luatua dropped from 49 to 124
Kevin Crosby dropped from 132 to outside 250

Viane moved up from 181 to 160
Godchaux moved up from 208 to 151
Brandon Harris from unranked to 186
Michael O'Connor from unranked to 188
Josh Casher from unranked to 106
Stephen Roberts (commit) from unranked to 197
