I feel your pain to some extent. Back in the fall here in Alabama, we went 6 days without power, due to a hurricane. Thank the Lord for a generator. Hopefully Saint, help will be coming soon for y'all.

From a league balance standpoint, it wouldn't make sense to not make-up A&M, who we haven't played at all, in order to play ARK/MSU/AUB for a 2nd time.

But from a competitor's standpoint, I'm sure we'd be better served long-term by playing the best teams we can. That means skipping aTm

I kind of figured the cell towers would be having issues too but I guess not?

But yeah charging a phone in the car makes sense. Also, generators make sense but not everybody has one. I certainly don't, unfortunately.

Remaining games for top 3 teams:

12-1 Ala > @ A&M?, Vandy, @Ark, @ MSU, Aub
9-4 Ark > @A&M, Ala, LSU, @SCar
8-4 LSU > @ OM, Aub, @ UGa, @ Ark, Van

thankfully, LSU/Ark play each other.

Even if they had made it in to play, their chances of getting back out to get home were not good.

Definitely didn't want that to happen.

I think we will get the game in. All the weather will be out of College Station by 1pm today. Temps are hovering around 30-32.

It’s getting up to around 45 in TTown today. We should be able to get there.

Why can’t A&M come here and play in Coleman?

From Cecil:

The Alabama men’s basketball game at Texas A&M, originally scheduled for Wednesday night, has been postponed due to inclement weather and potential travel (issues?) the SEC office announced Wednesday morning.

Winter weather has caused travel problems in both Texas and Alabama. More snow and freezing rain is expected across Texas in the next 24 hours according to the National Weather Servic, leading the SEC to make the change.

The game, originally scheduled for 8 p.m, Wednesday, was pushed back until Thursday at 2 p.m, but is now postponed indefinitely.

From Bama Central (SI):

Due to icy weather, the Crimson Tide's trip to College Station will be postponed

Remember when a lot of us thought Rojas would get Reese's minutes? Good times.
