I'd say it opens with us favored by 10 or more, Georgia's 2 and 4 on the road.

KenPom has it at Alabama 85-71 and Torvik 87-73. They were -13.5 pts at Tennessee.

So.....probably -12 or so?

If the Women collapse and fall out of the tournament is Curry job in trouble? I mean we ended last year strong and we’re much more competitive this year.

Wouldn't think so but Greg Byrne doesn't fvck around if he thinks it's time to move on.

Stanford got pounded again tonight. They are going to be a bubble team. I thought when we played them earlier they were going to have a really good year.

Same - I know they've had some injuries but yea they've just not been very good. That may end up being our worst loss of the year.

Clemson was really good, then terrible, now is playing really well again.

Girls lose 67-62, drop to 12-6 (5-6)

They beat State on 1/14 to move to 11-1 (4-1). Since then they are 1-5.

If Curry and company choke away a bid with a veteran roster and a legitimate pro prospect from everything I’ve read, how much longer does she get? I mean I’m thankful the program isn’t the joke of the conference anymore, but at some point you’ve got to produce actual results.

Next 2 games

@ Auburn (5-14, NET 115)
@ Florida (9-8, NET 66)

They better win those 2 because they finish with

vs State (8-5, NET 37)
Texas A&M (18-1, NET 14)
@ Arkansas (14-7, NET 24)

I dunno but I trust that Byrne won't just let a sport sit around and wallow for very long.

Yeah I don’t know. I think women’s basketball is the one sport we have a significant disadvantage.

Women’s hoops is the number 3 or close to number 3 sport at a lot of schools. At Bama, it’s a distant number 3 women’s sport- softball and gym are more popular.

If I were a top women’s basketball player, there’s no way I’d go to Bama.

She had the roster to be competitive this season and they are blowing it. She has had plenty of time and has done a good job getting us back to respectable. But being the equivalent of Ole Miss football is not what we strive for. I think it’s time to move on. We can do better. First call is to MaDonna but Byrne is his own man. And he’s done a bang up job so far so I’ll be interested to see this one play out.

How is the win-percentage calculated to consider postponements? Or is it?

My interpretation is that he is saying "winning percentage". I.e., Bama's 14-4, is higher than say UT's 13-4. That's why the postponed games matter.
