I think it's a really bad/deep bruise. He landed hard on his hip/back area, I think it was our first game vs Kentucky, pretty sure he and Bruner both got injured that game.

It was against Mississippi State where he hurt himself. Went up for a rebound and fell.

You guys think Quinerly had covid or what? I know the announcers lept talking Saturday about how Manek from Oklahoma hadn't been the same since he came back two weeks ago from having Covid.

JQ sure hasn't looked the same since he came back. He did have the big game vs LSU where he hit all those threes but as far as running the offense and getting to the rim he hasn't been nearly as effective. His stamina seems off too when he is out there.

Whatever it is hopefully he gets back to normal soon, we went from having two PGs who could run the offense and get to the rim at will to 0 currently with Herb hurt and whatever is going on with JQ.

I can vouch for YouTubeTV as well. Not sure what to do when MLB starts back up though. Sinclair can go die in a fricking fire.

I remember getting MLBTV one year and it was like 130 dollars and the Braves games were blacked out. I would not recommend it.

Oklahoma has 18 points at Texas Tech at halftime, losing 25-18

They have held mac McClung to 0 points too which is impressive, he is averaging about 25ppg over the last 3 weeks. Defensive battle it looks like.

Oklahoma is a good team regardless if they win or lose tonight, they have beaten 3 top 10 teams in the last month. Texas Tech is a good team too, I think both are ranked in the top 15.

I discovered using my parents Spectrum log in and have been watching Hawks games on the Fox Sports Go app.

I assume I'll do that for the Braves too if they don't let me in the ballpark come April.

Been a really good game if you like teams playing hard and great defense, which I do.

I don’t feel so bad about our Offense on Saturday. OU defense is pretty damn good. So is Kentucky’s for that matter

They held one of the best scorers in cbb to 4 points, and he got those on free throws. They are playing really good defense.

I have YouTube TV that I've been using since football season started. Probably going to punt it by the summer. Basketball is keeping,me subscribed for now.

Me too, but I keep it going monthly out of habit, although I've gotten to where sports and maybe the occasional news is all I ever watch live anymore.

The DVR on Youtube TV is great, but I prefer to stream series on other services without ads whenever possible, so I don’t have to fast forward every few minutes.

I probably should consider pausing my subscription at some point too. But then it just seems weird to totally give it up, after having cable/satellite for years and years.

It was TTU’s lowest total since Kansas on 12/17 and their second lowest total on the season. Our offense has been hurting since the LSU game, but we’ve also played two top 30 defenses in UK (15) and Oklahoma (29). MSU (75) played us well, but we still scored 81 points. Hopefully a home game against LSU (144) will be just what the doctor ordered to cure the offensive woes.

Oklahoma is good and a legit top 15 team but I think if we were full strength and they were full strength we would win. I wouldn't be mad if we get a rematch with them down the road in the tournament.

Very good point Cap’n. Confidence is such an under-rated factor. Play Oklahoma after having gone off on LSU, and we likely play much better n offense.

Also, did you see Oat’s statements after the game? He basically hinted that we underestimated OU since they had their two best guys out. I he staff had tried to warn the team about being flat, but still think the team was flat.

He also mentioned that our injury situation, especially with Herb, was a big deal.

I mean they obviously shouldn't have done that, but unfortunately this is kind of the point in the season where the grind begins wearing on guys. Basketball is different from football from a mental preparation and routine standpoint since the mid-week games aren't on the same day every week. So one week you may have a Saturday-Tuesday turnaround and the next week you end up with a Saturday-Thursday turnaround. It's difficult to get into a routine of "today is Monday so I do X, today is Tuesday so I do Y, today is Wednesday so I do Z" the way football players do, which heightens the potential for games where half the team is just mentally checked out. The key is being able to regroup instead of letting one loss turn into two or three.
