Would be way to easy to just close out a game the normal way

Yeah, it’s one bad batch of 5-stars which will be remedied by the next batch of 5-stars he gets. I will say that he needs to learn from Saban and adapt to today’s game. Loosen the handcuffs and let your stars be stars. I get that you’re working with a lot of 5-stars, but you can’t pummel your best scorers into spreading the ball around when you have no legit offensive system in place. Either fix your system or take the handcuffs off of your best player.

No one seems to want the ball and that’s on the coach. Everybody knows that Boston should be shooting more, but Cal beats it into their heads that hero ball is not okay. That’s a fine philosophy if you have an offensive plan in place or if John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, and Eric Bledsoe are on the floor, but not otherwise. There’s no way Anthony Davis should have averaged just 14 PPG at the collegiate level given his supporting cast.

The Pac-12 commissioner job is open now and Byrne is one of the top candidates being mentioned. Really hope he doesn’t take it being that he was in the Pac-12 at Arizona for awhile. Would suck to lose him before he can get us a new arena or a renovation.

Wouldn't touch that gig. It's in California (San Fran at thtat) and it's a "Woke" conference. Pac 12's best days are behind it.

shite, PAC 12 wouldn’t even be the best G5 conference right now. Scott burned that bitch to the ground. That’s a major rebuilding task for the next commish.

Sexton > Kyrie, Durant, Harden.

Last night may have been Collins coming out party in the NBA.

Is conference commissioner even a good job? What does the conference commissioner really do other than take credit for what the schools accomplish?

He's probably sick of the idea of having to now put all these men on women's teams. You know the pac-12 and the big east is where all that shite will be. We will see some record breaking women's track teams in the near future.

Alabama is having an outstanding season and they’ve been heavy on the boards. They’re currently second behind Arkansas in rebounding in the entire conference.

They will add an established rebounder in Jusaun Holt next year, who has snagged over 500 career boards in high school.

For all the "it was one night" folks.

Sexton over his last 45 games is averaging:

Don't know if it's been mentioned but Sexton vs Minnesota might need a rewatch.

I didn't say it was one night. I said it maybe his coming out party.

He has been a top 15 scorer this year BUT he hasn't had a ton of Media coverage bc it's the Cavs.

Beating KD, Kyrie, and Harden gets you that primetime adoration and that elevates your profile thus your "coming out party".

I hope we start to produce a steady stream of NBA talent. It doesn't have to be on Kentucky or Duke's level, but consistently putting 1-2 players in the first round every year will just fuel recruiting even more. "We play at ludicrous speed and you'll get benched if you don't shoot" is already a really easy recruiting pitch. Tack on "then you'll go make a ton of money in the NBA after a couple of years" and 90% of the job is done before Oats even meets the kid.

The '86-87 team only beat 5 SEC teams by more than 10 points (regular season).

This team has already beaten 5 by 10+ with 11 to play. Average margin of victory over SEC opponents thus far, 18.
