He did. I found his take on the technical interesting as well. The ref that T'd him up was no where near the conversation when it occurred and apparently did not know the difference between off/on ball foul

Barnes is brutally honest - I love him. And he's built a program in which his kids (Fulky as a prime example) are more pissed off about their play than him calling him on it.

Honestly, if we beat Florida and then split the next 4, I think we might be in one of those spots where the collapse (which will happen, obviously) might not be enough to keep us out of the NCAAT. It would just be enough to make us have those "Do we even want to watch this shitty team in the NCAAT?" discussions.
The Tennessee win, on the road, will basically cancel out 2 shitty road losses (assuming Tennessee keeps playing like most think they will). Top 10 road wins are fvckin pure cocaine.

But even in that waaaaaaay too realistic sounding scenario we still finish like 17-12 (10-8) and are probably in the NCAAT.
What you left off was a 1st Round SEC Tournament loss to 11-14 Kentucky, who would inevitably be a #8 seed or something and figure it out late.

Losing 2 of our last 3 regular season games and to Kentucky in our first conference tournament game to fall from a possible 6 seed to the 9 seed in Gonzaga's bracket would be the most Alabama basketball thing imaginable.
Edit: but only if we advance and play Gonzaga close for a half before ultimately losing 97-73.

If you offered me today making the tournament, winning a game, and getting steamrolled by the Gonzaga machine in the second round with the stipulation that we could do no better, or more importantly no worse, than that I'd probably think about it for a little while but ultimately take it.
