Bruner made it as easy as he could for Oats...seems to be that kinda guy.

I wonder if he's interested in coaching? He looked like he had bad knees BEFORE he injured them this year. It's hard to imagine he's going to play in the nba. He might make a little money overseas, but if he wants to coach, I wouldn't mind seeing him get started as some kind of assistant at Bama. Of, course, with that Yale degree, he probably has lots of options.

Lol. Dude, I'm the only one being to nice and trying to explain Oats' basketball philosophy, rather than just laugh at your dumbass comments. Because it's obvious you don't know shite from your questions. But if you wanna be a dick, I'm more than glad to rub my balls in your face and call you an idiot like everyone else.

Ohhhh, you like the Lakers? You must be so knowledgeable. But being an NBA guy, I guess that all these 3 point attempts is a foreign concept to you.

So, do you still like the Patriots, or have you switched to a Tampa fan? How are the Yankees looking this year? I personally think Real Madrid is gonna be competitive in Euroleague this year.

Updated national title odds from @betonline_ag:

Gonzaga +150
Baylor +325
Michigan +825
Houston +900
Alabama +1200

Just like with the Torvik odds, Bama and Michigan is lowering each other's odds. I was hoping they'd have choked by now, do we had an easier path. But at this point, everyone is good, even Blowjob Bobs.

Early season LSU's defense was hilariously bad. They became much better at guarding the perimeter as the year went on.

It sounds cliche but the biggest difference was they just collectively decided to give effort on that end of the floor.

They were still pretty bad when teams made them work, but they actually decided to give max effort on that end and with their athletes that alone makes them at least competent.

This is true....and I don't believe that Wade had so much to do with it.
At some point, they collectively decided to give the effort. Media critics, unhappy fans and reality finally dropped the hammer, and they decided that they would make the effort to be very good. I'm guessing that one or more of the three stars called a "players only" meeting and put them on the money. Wade had plenty of time to have done it earlier when the problem was apparent to everybody...but didn't!

Josh Primo Shines in Return to Action Against Maryland (SI)

The freshman guard has been out since March 12 when he suffered a sprained MCL in the SEC tournament

Not only did he okay efficiently on offense, he played great man defense, even down low a couple times. And for him to get 23 minutes in his first game back, was great to see. Glad we didn't rush him back early.

Sure would be nice if Alabama basketball could ever beat teams of equal or better talent. Maybe it’ll happen in the next 50 - 75 years and my son can see it.

I don’t see a system in place. This year all I’ve seen is 1 on 1 basketball the same as it was under Avery. Trash basketball. Trash basketball program.

I feel like I’m finally done being emotionally invested. I’ll still watch every single game, but I think I’m done going to games and done getting mad after every loss.

I hope that John Petty brushes up on his Arabic because his pure shite this year might even eliminate European options and relegate him to middle eastern basketball.

Pretty strong melt after the WKU loss if I do say so myself.

It's OK buddy. Losing to a degenerate pile of human garbage like Rick Stansfield can bring out the worst in all of us.

I'm just glad the Jinx from Boz changing things up and making game threads was prevented.

I believe that Bruner has a sister playing pro basketball overseas, or did play. I'm not sure what his Ivy League degree (masters now, I imagine) is in, but he'll probably be able to punch his own ticket!

Haven’t been able to post since last night but I have to say that Petty hitting those back to back 3s and the bench absolutely going bananas was one of the coolest moments I’ve seen watching Bama basketball for many years. Just the obvious organic release of all that tension and the genuine happiness of the entire team seeing Petty finally break out was just awesome. Petty punching the air and smiling ear to ear will be a memory. Had me up off the couch. You could tell every single player and coach knows that they need Petty back to achieve the ultimate goal.

Yea - the reaction of the bench and staff, along with Petty himself, after that 2nd one ripped the nets was awesome.

Three-Point Stance: What if, best football-hoops combos, receivers

quote:

2. WHICH PROGRAMS HAVE THE BEST FOOTBALL-BASKETBALL COMBO?

This is arguably the craziest NCAA tournament in history with many top seeds stumbling like Daniel Jones in the open field. So who’s good at football and basketball based on this season. How about these names?

1. Alabama — The defending national champs in football are headed to the Sweet 16 in basketball. SEC titles in both sports. Alabama is a hoops school after all, right?

2. Oklahoma — The Sooners won another Big 12 title in football and while the Sooners were bounced by No. 1 Gonzaga in hoops, they are consistently a threat in March.

3. Oregon — The Ducks lost their bowl game to Iowa State but they won another Pac-12 title and the hoops team is a No. 7 seed and off to the Sweet 16 after dominating Iowa.

4. Oklahoma State — The Cowboys quietly went 8-3 last season, won a bowl game against Miami and had a solid hoops season. They are one of five teams to win a bowl game and a game in the NCAA hoops tournament.

5. Wisconsin – The Badgers are also one of only five teams to win a bowl game and win a tournament game this year. Wisconsin has always been steady.

Teams that lost out with bad losses? Ohio State, Clemson, Florida, Texas.

Last night, per Torvik, we had the best offensive performance of the entire Tournament.
